We had been married for about a year when it happened. I had always been curious about this one room that was always closed and locked. I didn't really think to go inside until one night when Draco was drunk. I hadn't found him until way into the night.

The only reason I did was because I could hear his mom sobbing and his newly rehabilitated father trying to comfort her. I could hear her say, "He hasn't done this since he stopped having those nightmares, what happened?" (What I didn't know was that he had seen a newspaper article that said Hermione was engaged to Ron.) That's was when I heard the crash or more like crashes.

I dashed away from the door I was in front of to the door I heard the loud noises coming from. I realized it was the room everybody in the Malfoy family including the house elves avoided going into. I tried to open the door, but it was locked so I used my wand to unlock it and only got a quick peek inside before it was slammed shut again. What I did see was horrible. Everything was smashed into pieces.

When I tried to open the door again I found that he had put a ward on it because I went sliding backwards on my bum on the hardwood and shaking my hand in pain. The spell was too complicated for me to attempt to break it. A week later though I got my chance when everyone was conveniently out of the house at the same time.

I quickly unlocked the door and slipped inside scared someone would discover me before I had a chance to have a look in the mysterious room. It looked totally different from the last time I saw it. Everything was put back together and there seemed to be nothing wrong as far as I could tell. I couldn't fathom why the Malfoy's avoided this room like the plague. Even Luscious Malfoy did it and he was a very intimidating man. I walked into the center of the room but was still clueless.

Then suddenly the door slams open and Draco sets his livid eyes on me and although I have never felt fear when it comes to Draco I could feel my heart start pounding furiously and my instincts were telling me to ran away, far away.

He yells, "Why the fuck are you in here? Get out. You aren't allowed in here."

We get in a huge argument. The next day he tells me we are done and that he wants a divorce. I scream at him, but he ignores me. Two months later it is finalized. I am officially divorced from one Draco Malfoy. I never thought this would be how my life turned out. All because of a stupid, secret room that was still driving me crazy and I hadn't set eyes on it in months. I snoop around in Draco's past and make an educated guess about what happened in that room, but I don't know for sure.

I find out a year later he is dating Hermione Granger, the know it all bitch from Gryffindor. Two years after that they are engaged and a year later they are married. They had two weddings. One intimate one with just family and close friends and another one to show the paparazzi that they are truly in love. After I keep bothering him about it his best friend, Blaise, tells me what happened in that room. After his story he tells me that Draco said that I was only allowed to hear the truth because it was one of the reasons we got divorced but that if I tell anyone, anyone at all that he would find me and ruin me forever.

I learned the truth behind the secret room in Malfoy Manor. A girl was tortured in there for the location of the boy who lived. She never gave in and her screams still echo in the old decrepit mansion. Another boy was also in that room, a witness to the girl's torture. He was pale as death as he watched his own aunt torture one of his classmates. Learning the secret of that room has not given me any peace regarding the life I led in that mansion and the life I now have to lead outside of it.
