It's been a while since I have written a fan fiction however, after reading a few Gohan x Videl fics, I got a good idea of a story to write. This takes place after the Cell Games when Gohan goes to high school however, in this chapter it will have my own version of the Cell Games which, turns Gohan into a whole new person. Finally, I don't know how long this fix will be but there is the possibility of it becoming a lemon. I have never written a lemon before but have read them so I'm hoping it will turn out ok. But, just to be safe I'm going to keep this a rate M.
Gohan at the young age of 10, is currently watching his friend's lives being beaten out of them little by little. The culprits of this action are beings that Cell made known as Cell Jrs. Not only is Gohan watching this happening but as well as a man known as Hercule Satan and a group of people he brought along with him to the Cell Games.
"Mr. Satan! You must do something! You have to go save those people!" A trembling cameraman says to the worlds so-called "champ."
Staring at the mysterious fighters, Hercule knew if he tries to help them it would only result in him getting killed. However, Hercule finally found the courage to utter a few words. "I-I don't know. They look like they got it covered. I'm sure they will be fine."
At that moment, three of the mysterious fighters fell to the ground with only an inch of life left. This made Hercule change his mind about his earlier statement. "F-fine. I guess it's t-time for the champ to make an a-appearance." Hercule said while shaking like a twig.
"That's our Mr. Satan! Always helping out others!" Said the cameraman enthusiastically. He then gave Hercule a shove on the back, pushing him into the open. Hercule looked back only to see the cameraman giving him a thumb up.
Hercule walked over to where one of the Cell Jrs were, mumbling along the whole way. Once Hercule got into earshot distance he pointed at the monster. "H-hey you! D-don't you know the world champ is right here!" Hercule just managed to get those words out as he trembled.
The Cell Jr flew over to were Hercule was standing and looked him up and down. He finally made eye contact with Hercule, making Hercule flinch. The Cell Jr chuckled and finally spoke. "You! The world champ? That's funny!" He then lifted up his hand and backhanded him sending him into a nearby boulder."
Everyone who had come to the cell games with Hercule started, dumbfounded. Even a little girl who was hiding behind a rock which, no one even seemed to notice she was there. Hercule was still barely conscious as he saw a little girl step out behind a boulder. The man recognized the girl and spoke, but no one could hear him. "V-Videl?"
The girl pointed at the Cell Jr that had backhanded Hercule and gave him an ear-piercing yell. "Hey! You can't just backhand my daddy like that!" This caught the attention of everyone there at the cell games, even Cell.
"H-Hey! Isn't that Mr. Satan's daughter? What is she doing here?" The cameraman said focusing the lens on Videl.
Cell then averted his gaze from the girl and looked back at Gohan. "Oh Gohan, would you look what we have here. A little girl that, unless you do something quick is going to die. How tragic." Cell let out a chuckle and began to feel Gohan's energy slightly rise.
Gohan glared at Cell with the most murderous look one can give. As Gohan's energy continued to rise Cell spoke. "Good! That's good! I want more! Get angrier!" Cell shot one more look at the girl before refocusing his attention on Gohan.
"You know, I think I'll take care of this one myself. Cell started forming a ki blast in his hand that no doubt, had the power to denigrate the girl on impact.
Gohan stared at the blast in his hand before pleading. "No! Cell, don't do it! Please!" Gohan pleaded but, despite his efforts Cell didn't stop and fired the blast. "NO! Dammit Cell! I swear I am going to kill you!"
Gohan's power began to skyrocket but came to a halt as he began to see a figure where the little girl was once standing. As the dust began to settle he could see the little girl unscathed but had a look of terror as she was looking down at something. The dust continued to disappear and Gohan took notice of what the girl was looking at. It was a body. Gohan looked harder and realized who it was. It was his father, Goku. Goku used his instant transmission to shield the girl from the blast saving her life but, it only ended up sealing his own.
"N-No! D-dad? It can't be!" Everyone looked at the dying Goku in surprise and terror as they saw their closest of friend with only a short amount of life left in him. Goku lowered the two fingers on his forehead and looked at Gohan.
"Gohan, I'm sorry." He paused and spat blood before talking again. "Gohan, you must let go. You have to let it all go." Goku winces in pain and spat more blood. "Tell Chi-Chi I'm sorry, but I had to do it. Gohan, make sure you take care of your mother." Goku gave Gohan a smile before saying his final words. "Goodbye." Goku then lost the light and his eyes and had died.
Everyone stared in shock as they saw Goku, of all people killed. Even Cell was in complete awe. After seeing what Cell did to his father he lost control. "NO! DADDY!" Gohan screamed before a sudden outburst of wind came from Gohan making a loud dust cloud. Everyone stared at said dust cloud in awe as they could feel Gohan's power skyrocketing to limits no one thought were even possible. It was obvious the Gohan had become at the very least twice as strong as he was before.
"Gohan's power! I've never felt anything like this! Is this even possible?" The trembling Piccolo managed to utter. Even Cell was trembling at Gohan's power.
"W-what is this? W-whatever, it doesn't matter how strong you become. I am Cell, the perfect being!"
The dust surrounding Gohan began to disappear and everyone had taken notice that Gohan was no longer laying on the ground. But had a stood up and with a confident posture. As more of the dust began to settle the more they could see of Gohan. They could see lightning sparking off his body everywhere, and his hair had changed. It wasn't a drastic change but his once bangs were sticking straight up similar to Vegeta's hair except for one bang.
Gohan turned and looked at Cell and everyone could tell that Gohan had turned into a whole new person. He looked deep into Cell's eyes making cell about ready to run. "Cell! While I'm killing you just keep in mind. You wanted me to bring out this power." Then, within a blink of an eye cell was right in front of Cell with his fist embedded in his stomach.
Cell's eyes widened to the size of frying pans as he spat out an abundant amount of blood. "H-how is this possible." However, before Cell could say more Gohan had disappeared in a blink of an eye yet again. Cell looked up to see Gohan holding a brown bag.
"The senzus. H-how could you have taken them?" Cell had gotten tired of Gohan's arrogance and leapt towards him only to miss and punch the air. Gohan reappeared behind the Cell Jr that backhanded Hercule and tapped on his shoulder.
The Cell Jr turned around trembling as Gohan grabbed the top of his head and simply squished it killing him. The Cell Jr turned into blue dust. Gohan hadn't wasted any time and was now looking at the other Cell Jrs. The Cell Jrs looked at each other in a signal to all attack Gohan at once.
However, Gohan didn't feel like wasting any time. It wasn't that he was on a clock but rather, he didn't feel like fighting the Cell Jrs. So, he disappeared out of sight and then reappeared behind all the Cell Jrs. All the Z fighters stared in awe as they saw all the remaining Cell Jrs split in half and turn to dust.
"I-Impossible. Within that second Gohan killed all the Cell Jrs? We weren't even able to kill one of them!" Piccolo said scared of Gohan's power. Cell stared in awe and anger as he watched his creations be killed by Gohan.
"Y-You bastard! How dare you do that!" Cell said as he flew towards Gohan. Cell was inching closer to Gohan and yet, Gohan hadn't even acknowledged Cell was coming towards him. As Cell was now just a few feet from Gohan he thought he had Gohan dead but, he found himself stopped and found Gohan once again in front of him with his fist embedded in his stomach.
"You know what. I think I'm going to have a little fun with you." Gohan said scaring all the Z fighters as they began to tremble. Gohan then grabbed Cell's arm and ripped it off. Cell screamed in agony as Gohan proceeded to rip off his other arm.
The little girl that was almost killed was still just standing there watching as she watched Gohan torture Cell. She was trembling so hard that it was a surprise she hadn't passed out yet. Suddenly she felt hands go ever her eyes and heard a familiar voice.
"Sweetpea. You can't be here, and you shouldn't be watching this." Hercule said to his daughter as she didn't even acknowledge that she was no longer watching the fight.
Cell flew back terrified of what Gohan was going to do to him. "S-Stay back! Monster!"
Gohan chuckled at Cell's words and proceeded to tease him. "What's wrong Cell? Scared?" Gohan then lunged at cell punching him in the stomach one more time, only this time he didn't hold back. Cell's eyes almost popped out of their sockets and Cell began to vomit an android.
"I-Is cell really vomiting an android? Does that mean he will go back to his form before?" Piccolo once again said as it seemed he was the only one who was able to speak.
Cell continued to vomit out the android until it had completely come out. Then, a blinding light came out of nowhere and cell had returned to his previous form. " N-No! My perfect form! It's gone! How dare you!" Cell was so angered at this point he would do anything to take down this Saiyan.
Gohan smirked at Cell and began to speak. "Hmmm. It seems I may have punched you a little too hard. I wonder, if I punch you like that again will the other android come out?" Cell's eyes had grown with fear as he started to back away. He then put on a confident expression and everyone watched as his body began to grow bigger.
"You pushed me to the point of no return! I've decided that I'm going to take you and everyone on this Earth with me now."
Gohan smirked yet again and just looked at Cell. "What, you think that because you're going to self-destruct that you can stop me from killing you? You do realize that you now made yourself immobile and let's say that I shot a powerful blast at you I could disintegrate you."
Cell's eyes almost popped out his sockets again realizing the fatal mistake he had made. Although his self-destruct would kill Gohan, Gohan could just as easily kill him right now. While thinking about it he saw Gohan cup his hand by his side.
"KA… ME… HA…ME…" and with just one word left to say Gohan smirked for the last time. "Looks like it's the end here Cell. Have fun in HFIL." Gohan then looked at the Z fighters which Gohan could see was worried if Gohan's attack was enough to disintegrate Cell before the impact made him implode.
Gohan looked back at Cell. "Well, this is goodbye. Have fun." Gohan's Kamehameha then began to appear, and everyone could see it big size. The size washed away everyone's worries and doubts about Gohan's capabilities. "HAAAA!" Gohan finally shot his Kamehameha at Cell, enveloping Cell in it.
"DAMN YOU!" Cell screamed before he had been disintegrated. Gohan lowered his arms and powered down back into his original state. He looked over at his father and dropped to his knees.
"I-Is it over?" Krillin said not fully understanding what had happened before them. The foe that seemed so powerful before was suddenly destroyed by Gohan without even breaking a sweat.
"I-I think so." Piccolo said as everyone looked over at the Saiyan who defeated Cell. He was kneeling over his father sobbing. Everyone was so distracted by Gohan's new power that they had forgotten that Goku had died. Everyone with the exception of Hercule and his group and Vegeta looked down and held back their tears.
"Dad. I'm sorry. I failed you." Gohan continued to sob until his face turned very serious. "I promise, I'm bringing you back with the dragon balls as soon as I can."
Suddenly, Gohan could hear his father's familiar voice along with all the other Z fighters. "I don't think so Gohan. I think it's time you finally let me rest for good." Gohan and everybody looked around for the cause of the voice but found nothing.
"Dad? Are you here?" Gohan asked while looking around everywhere but there was no sign of him.
"Well, in a way. I'm talking through King Kai right now. But, like I said before it's time I rest for good." Gohan looked confused as to what his father was saying. Was he saying that he really didn't want to be brought back and just leave his family behind?
"W-What do you mean rest for good? We can bring you back with the dragon balls." Gohan was extremely nervous and confused
"No Gohan. All these threats Cell, the Saiyans, Frieza, the androids. They all came to Earth because of me. I think it's Earth is safer if I stay here in Other World." Hearing Goku's words everyone knew what he was saying but didn't quite agree. However, Gohan was the one most confused. How is it that his own father didn't want to come back to him and his family? What is it that made him hate him so much? Gohan couldn't help but sob.
"So, you just want to leave your family behind? Forever? You didn't even get to properly say goodbye!" Gohan yelled. His anger was obvious as you could see his super Saiyan hair and eyes flicker.
"I'm sorry Gohan, but it's safer for you and Chi-Chi if I don't come back. I can't put you guys at risk anymore. Besides, look how strong you've gotten. I'm sure you will be fine." This just confused Gohan even more.
"It doesn't matter if more people will come and try and kill you! You said it yourself! I've become strong enough to take on whatever comes our way!" Gohan didn't want his father to go away but didn't know what to say to get him to stay.
"Gohan, this just has to happen. Sadly, I can't be there to protect Earth with you anymore. I've lived my life and know it's time for me to rest. I must go know, tell Chi-Chi I'm sorry. And Gohan, don't blame yourself for any of this. It's not your fault. Goodbye." With that Goku disconnected his connection to Gohan and the Z fighters.
It was at this moment that Gohan had changed. 'I promise, I won't let anything like this happen again. I promise to get even stronger, to reach new levels.' Gohan thought to himself as he stood up and wiped the tears from his face. The Z fighters also noticed the change in Gohan.
"Gohan. Are you ok?" Krillin asked concerned for one of his best friends. Gohan looked over and everyone could see the change in Gohan. The once always cheerful and happy Gohan was no more. As if that person was lost the moment Goku died. Know, Gohan was different. He was no longer cheerful and happy, but more angry and depressed.
Gohan didn't answer Krillin's question before he turned his back on them and flew into the sky. What was Gohan to do now? He promised himself to reach new heights but didn't quite know how to do that. He guessed his first step was to tell his mom what had happened.
And that looks like a good place to end the first chapter. I hope you liked my version of the Cell Games and obviously the next chapter is going to be of when Gohan goes to high school. Will what Videl saw effect what she is like 7 years later? I guess we'll find out. Also, I don't have a schedule for when I'll be doing updates but expect to see many fluctuations. I will probably update frequently at the start but gradually slow down. With all being said thank you for reading I hope you enjoyed.
