Gliding like an angel on the dance floor, guided by a leading partner, feelings of passion and devotion spread through the room as the track played on. A tall male in a dark suit with rhinestones, and a sweet young adult male in a dress and leotard were the only people in the studio.
Said teenager was Karkat Vantas, a popular androgynous dancer aged 18. He had hardly properly become an adult yet he was in control of a bank account with over a million dollars, and was to be opening a dance studio and academy. His grand opening in this very studio he was in, would be tomorrow, and, to put it simply, he was scared shitless. This was his studio, where people - or should we say professionals - will dance. Pressure was on ever since the start of the project, but now it was almost done, there was a strong feeling of anxiety in Karkats gut, and the pressure was on for him to open the party well.
Did I mention there was going to be an opening party? No? Well, there will be, and quite a few rich people around the area would be attending, and one person in particular was famed rapper Dave Strider, who Karkat admired greatly. From the beaming confidence to the dedicated fan base he had, all of it looked like a dream, and knowing that he was invited, Karkat really had to impress people.

As the song came to its close, there was a lovely held pose, and Karkats chest rose and fell at a steady pace, like the dance hadn't fatigued him. Truth was, he had recorded the entire dance, so he wouldn't let himself look tired. He ran over to stop the recording before changing and going home to edit and upload the footage to YouTube, where hundreds of dances to popular songs were uploaded on his channel.
Foxtrot to Trouble by Coldplay. Big News About My New Studio!
His video was uploaded, and the next day, there were already three million views, and hundreds of comments, congratulating him, wishing him luck, and hating on how feminine he was, and though he tried to ignore those comments, he was still very insecure about his femininity. He put it aside, and got ready to attend the opening. His hair was curled nicely, shining ginger in the light. He had a red suit blazer, black button up shirt, red tie and a pair of black skinny jeans on, and to finish off the look, a nice pair of black leather Converse brand sneakers.
Karkat was so not ready for this..
