The Black Box Theatre
The Black Box Theatre was empty except for only one student. Tori Vega had been practicing a song for her new music class. Her teacher gave her class the assignment to pick a song by their favorite musician and sing in front of the class. Tori's favorite musician was Taylor Swift; she decided to do Sparks Fly, which was her favorite song. Whenever she heard it play, she would think of Jade. One of the reasons was because of Jade's bright green eyes. The other reason is because Tori had a little bit of a crush on her Goth friend. She didn't ask for it, it just kind of came. Even though Jade is constantly insulting her and putting her down, Tori seems like the only one Jade will come to for help. There was the one time she can to Tori when she broke up with Beck. That was the first time Jade had showed vulnerability to anyone and Tori found it cute that Jade would always come to her instead of anyone else.
"Give me those green eyes baby as the lights go down-" Tori sang along to the music she played on her electric guitar.
"Give me something that'll haunt me when you're not around, cause I've seen sparks fly whenever you smile." Another voice sang behind her. Tori turned around and faced two bright green eyes and long black hair.
"Jade!" Tori said removing the guitar, "What are you doing here?"
"Looking for you, you blew off lunch so we got worried." Jade said simply, crossing her arms with a smile on her face.
"I'm practicing a song for my class."
Jade raised an eyebrow.
"What?" Tori said.
"Nothing" Jade sighed and looked down, "Tori we really need to talk"
"I thought we were talking now" Tori joked. Jade looked serious though.
"Don't get me angry, Vega."
"Wait" Tori said looking at Jade suspiciously, "You don't have your new scissors on you, do you?"
"No" Jade sighed. Tori gave her the same look.
Jade sighed again and lifted up her arms. Tori sauntered over and felt both her arms to see if she had her scissors. Nothing.
"Don't be shy" Jade said giving Tori a flirty look. Tori felt around her waist and found nothing again. Before she could remove her arms, Jade caught her wrist and held her where she was. Tori had a slightly scared look on her face because she was afraid Jade was about to slice her head off or something. Jade only held the other girls gaze, staring into her eyes intensely. Tori couldn't even get a word in before Jade's lips were on her own. Her lips were soft and tasted like cherry. Tori was surprised at first, but then melted into the kiss. She removed her arms from the Goth's wait and placed them around her neck pulling her closer. Jade wrapped her arms around Tori's waist and deepened the kiss.
They broke away, but only for air. Tori looked at Jade questionably.
"Andre told me" She said.
Andre? She never told anyone about her crush, not Andre, nor Cat, not even her own sister. Everyone feared Jade and if any of her friends found out she was crushing on the Goth girl, they would think she was crazy.
"How did he know?" Tori said.
"You're not very good at hiding things."
Tori turned bright red. Great. Now everyone knew or at least she thought.
"Does anyone else know?" Tori prayed they didn't. It would not be the best situation she would be in.
Jade shook her head as in saying no one knew. Tori sighed in relief.
"So are you coming to lunch Vega?" Jade said. Tori nodded and Jade let the way out of the theatre.
