A Different World

It had been two years since the Justice Lords killed Lex Luthor and put the earth in permanent lockdown. The Justice Lords were gathered in front of Batman's computer watching a fight take place. It started with the Justice League in a jet, contacting the Watchtower for back up. The jet landed in front of a black building, which in front of the Justice League's eyes turned to a giant ray beam with Luthor/ Braniac in the center.

"Welcome Justice League, to the end of the world." He said.

The Justice Lords watched in horror as the Justice League fought doppelgangers of them. The Justice League defeated them, but Luthor/ Braniac knocked them all down. Flash managed to get up but Luthor/ Braniac saw and walked over slowly.

"Are you going to fight me boy?"

Flash got up and ran the other way.

"Why is he running away? He needs to fight Luthor." Shiera asked.

"No, I think Flash has a plan."

A plan Flash did have. Luthor/ Braniac had turned around to begin rebuilding his machine, but Flash ran by, super-fast, taking, some of Luthor/ Braniac's armour with him. By and by again, with more each time. Flash stopped by Luthor/ Braniac, vibrating furiously, a started to punch him, impossible fast, and wind rousing around him. The rest of the Justice League got up and watched as Flash punched all the circuitry out of Luthor. Flash got up, vibrating rocks floating around him.

"Guys, I feel kind of funny…" and Flash vanished.

The Justice Lords gasped.

"He died, he saved the world and he died."

"Let's see what our counterparts do."

Superman was contemplating killing Luthor when Martin Manhunter announced Flash was still alive. Shiera found the portal of sorts and grabbed Flash.

"FLASH!"

"Shiera, it's so beautiful here, there's a force, a speed force. It's calling me home. I have to go now."

"No Wally, take my hand!"

"I'm here too Wally."

"We're all here!"

Justice League formed a chain, and pulled Wally from the force.

"I can never go that fast again. If I do, I don't think I'll ever come back."

Batman turned the feed off.

"So do we try to help their world?"

"They just had a disaster; we should wait a few weeks."

"Okay."
