"Abby shot me" Tony sighed as Gibbs looked at him, "Right in the leg, it's just a scratch, but she shot me" Tony continued, "I can't believe Abby shot me" he said as he sat down into the sofa. Gibbs said nothing, just picked up his paper again and started reading. "Don't you wanna know the full story?" he asked. Gibbs put down his paper.
"No" he said and raised the paper again.
"It's funny?" Tony tried.
"I said no, I don't want to know why Abby shot you" Gibbs said.
"Fine" Tony said and leant back in the sofa. "But you know I'm gonna tell you anyway, right?" Tony asked.
"I know" Gibbs sighed and put the paper down, "So what happened this time?" he asked as he took his glasses off.
"Abby wanted to learn how to use a gun, and since you already showed her a little, I let McGee show her since they're dating, a-"
"Hold on, they're dating?" Gibbs asked. Tony nodded eagerly. "Go on" Gibbs said after a while.
"Okay, so McGee was showing Abby how to use the gun, and Ziva and I were working on the latest cold case, which we solved by the way" Tony grinned, "anyway, Ziva decided we should probably go downstairs and check in on Abby and McGee's progress and I agreed, stupid me" Tony said and rubbed his thigh, "we went down there, and I went in first" Tony continued, "Abby jumped, swung the gun around and accidentally pulled the trigger"
"Why wasn't the safety on?" Gibbs asked.
"Because McGee didn't think of it, anyway, McGee put the safety on and Abby was really happy because noone was hurt a-"
"Wait a minute, where's the part where she shoots you?" Gibbs asked.
"Getting to it, Abby was really happy noone was hurt and decided to take the gun out of McGee's hands, and then it went off again" Tony said.
"I thought you said McGee put the safety on" Gibbs said.
"He did, but somehow it slipped and was off, and that's how Abby shot me in the leg, she swore never to touch a gun again, but McGee's still going to train her" Tony said, "It really wasn't her fault you know"
"I know" Gibbs said and chuckled, "At least it was four days this time"
"Abby sure screams loud when she's scared, there was a lot of blood but Ducky said I could go home" Tony said.
"Yeah?" Gibbs asked.
"Maybe not, but I insisted" Tony said. Gibbs just stared at him. "Fine, I snuck out from Authopsy, but I did leave a note saying I was going home" Tony continued, "and it also said thanks for the help" he finished.
"What am I going to do with you?" Gibbs asked.
"Hmmm, I can think of a couple of things" Tony said and grinned.
"Don't push it"
"I'm not pushing anything, I just remember the last time I got shot you did that thing wit-"
