For Kayashima: Extraordinary

Kayashima Taiki was used to seeing weird things every day. Do you know how hard it is to concentrate in school with everybody's auras suffocating him? Sure he has friends amongst Nakatsu, Noe, Sekime, Sano, Naoko, and Mizuki, who he knew was a girl from the start and is now in America again. But still their auras are very much visible. And it really does not help when he sees wandering spirits in the halls, in the classrooms, in his dorm, and in the streets. The first time he realized what those things that he saw were he was five and he cried. He was afraid, because he was not normal like the other children. Of course before coming to Osaka High, he had no friends because everyone saw him as, well, a freak to put it plain and simple.
Kayashima today was sitting in his room with Nakatsu. Nakatsu was writing a letter to Mizuki, while Kayashima was another book on the supernatural. Most of the books on psychics, the supernatural, ghosts and auras were all written by a man. He is a psychic as well and probably a very good one too. Not like that fool from Dorm 3. The author was a great writer and Kayashima liked the points he made.
"Kayashima, I'm going to get dinner are you coming," asked Nakatsu.
"I will meet you in the cafeteria in a few minutes," replied Kayashima. His roommate nodded and ran off to get some dinner. Meanwhile Kayashima finished reading the last paragraph of his book.
'Being a psychic is hard on the psychic himself/herself. People do not understand what we go through everyday of trying to sort out between auras that suffocate us to death. It is a difficult thing to find happiness. But if you are lucky enough to get friends and find love, do whatever you need to keep them. Remember being a psychic is useless if you help no one.'
Kayashima knew his gift was extraordinary and he was fine with it, now.
End.
