Disclaimer: I don't own Twilight,
Everything was on fire, high pitched screaming was heard from all around while the world they had known was demolished. No one was prepared for their invasion their men hurriedly raced to try and fight uselessly in battle. What their main focus should have been was the gold and the women. The barbarians laughed and joked whilst they caused havoc on the people's life, they took away so many lives without a second thought.
As the village went up into flames and the soldiers were slated, one man looked down after his last kill to see a woman trying to hurry two kids out in order to save their lives. The only thought that passed was ' the time for the taking has began' He let out a large roar and rose up his spear indicating that they had won.
Running down that small hill he quickly caught up with woman and grabbed her shoulder dragging her backwards, her letting out a scream in the process. The children had shock in their eyes and they didn't know whether to run or try and help their saviour. The man's smile grew as he took in her appearance as she coward in fear. Not caring about the children he started to drag her other to one side. Even through his tired appearance and beard you could see the man's youth.
Hurriedly, wanting to get himself an amount of gold as well, he started to knot her hands together with rope. She objected hugely as she struggled and screamed, trying to free herself from his tight grip. The children ran up and tried to save her like she had done them. Through his tiredness and temper he lost it and knocked one to the ground out cold. The other one scarpered to its side, frightened for its own life.
Throwing the woman over his shoulder, were she began to repeatedly bang on his back letting out angry screeches, he began to look around and saw his men either tackling with gold or grabbing hold of women like him. He couldn't be more proud of his men than he was now watching them triumph over this village with warm blood spilled. Gathering up a few amounts of gold and other valuables, he bolted past the flaming houses and down streets back to the horses.
He yelled for his men to return as they had done everything that was needed of them and had passed without losing any men in their battle.
He was beaming from ear to ear as he gave his speech the women, still beating against his back, thrown over his shoulder to make his point of dominanace. He stood there with his men celebrating while homes and bodies burned. He could hear some of the women sob but his continued to beat tiredly against his back. Some men were beginning to place the women upon their horse as he brought his down getting fed up of her tantrum. She looked deeply into his eyes before she spat in his face.
His hand hit her face instantly and her head whipped to a side in shock. The women started to yell and scream and it was obvious that she was something high up to them and well respected. His men soon got them into order while they beamed up at their leader for his signs of strength and leadership. The men clambered up onto their horses while the leader pushed the women about and onto the horse telling her who was in charge here. He led his men away with a smirk on his face confidence coming off him in beams.
The woman looked up from her place on the saddle to look at her demolished home and old life as it slowly disappeared into the distance and as it did a tear rolled down her cheek. Her women looked on at her and her red cheek and while they rode away, like her, they all had silent tears escape down.
