King's Cross
By Fur Elise
Okay… this is how I wished Deathly Hallows had ended, at least chapter 35, King's Cross. A tribute to some of the fallen heroes of the Harry Potter series (ok, a minority of heroes), but you'll just have to wait and see who they are.
Disclaimer: The first line said by Dumbledore is from of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, chapter 35, King's Cross, by J.K. Rowling. No copyright infringement intended! Don't sue me!
A.N.- Just a one-shot fluff to make me, a scary Snape/Lily shipper happy!
"Of course this is happening inside your head, Harry, but why on earth should that mean that it is not real?" Dumbledore spoke clearly, and just as he had said this, a huge scarlet steam engine puffed up to the station. The Hogwarts Express.
Harry watched in amazement as two figures seemingly appeared out of thick billowing smoke that was surrounding the train. The 17 year old Lily Evans and Severus Snape came into view, strolling arm in arm as they walked up to the train where they were greeted by the teenaged Remus Lupin, Sirius Black and James Potter, who were already on the train.
Severus hoisted himself onto the train and held out a pale hand to a radiant-looking Lily, who took it and used it to pull herself up on the train. She then wrapped her arms around his neck in a warm embrace, and kissed him softly on the lips.
James, Sirius and Remus grinned at this, and James put his hand around Lily's waist.
All five of them were beaming at Harry as the train started to slowly move away from the station, into a place away from the rest of the world, a place of peace.
The End
