Well I know that I don't post my story chapters very often but that's because I write only when the mood hits me and lately it hasn't been hitting me I mean yeah I have written out my chapters but I do my best work when I'm in a writing mood but as I said I haven't been in he mood as of late. But I decided to post some of my poetry for my own sake. These poems sort of work with the Masqurade but not entirely in fact I wrote them before I even had the Idea for Momo or Maiko or the plot so… Enjoy!

To own my heart in loves' embrace,

The challenge tests your fate,

But a prize like this is rarely given,

Nor the gift so great,

An eternal warmth for your head,

With love it shall entreat,

But then again it can't be said,

To none a quick and bitter retreat,

And when the battles waged,

And your quest comes to an end,

Do you, Sir knight, pick me or money,

With which the night to spend?

3 3 3 3 3

To steal my heart in a passing glance,

My home in just one hour,

And as I watch you take your stance,

Two innocents fighting for power,

And all of this for but one dance,

Moods of pleasure turned sour,

Would you risk it all in a game of chance,

For naught but a simple flower?

33333

A time of light,

And treasures untold,

So what if I,

Let the secrets unfold,

A mask in the night,

And all of a sudden you're mine to hold,

So that we can still love when all else turns cold.

33333

To hold my heart,

In the palm of my hand,

To be a part,

And understand.

33333

A curious thought,

A moment in time,

Once It is gone,

So is the rhyme.

33333

A rose by any other name,

A flower in the least,

But beware this rose has thorns,

That reveal an inner beast.

A/n: Please don't tell me 'Hey the first line of the last poem is by Shakespeare!' because I know that. All of the other poems are mine, Feel free to use them in stories or whatever just let me know so I don't get all bitchy about people stealing my stuff. I get really touchy about that sort of thing. Anyways enjoy and review any questions you have about my stories, My bark is worse than my bite I swear!
