Not so Glee related...but I've had this Kurt/Hamlet/suicide obsession for a couple of weeks, and when I wrote this poem on the plane ride home, it just screamed KURT ANGST! Therefore, I'm posting it. Enjoy!
Bury Me In Bed Clothes
Bury me in bed clothes
Tucked in, warm and tight
Let me rest beneath them
Like a child in the night
Anoint my head with lavender
Like the Sweet Prince's crown
And dress my body, loose and white
So sleep may drag me down
Wash my feet of soot and blood
To sully pure sheets not
And kiss my face and hold my hand
So your love shan't be forgot
Wear no black and grieve me not
For weary and gone am I
Shed no tears and say no prayers
Please – just sing, to me, a lullaby
Bury me in bed clothes
Tucked in, warm and tight
Close my eyes and lay me down
Till I am out of sight
