An idea suddenly popped into his mind that he never quit got. Luffy ran to find Robin and ask because she just seemed to know everything. Luffy found her on the deck with her nose in a book. "Am I a real pirate Robin?" "Yes" she stated without even looking up from her book. "Ok, where do babys come from then?" Robin looked up with an eyebrow corked up and just chuckled a bit. "Where did this come from Captain?" "Well I just never understood, could you explain it? All I know is that there is a bird and a bee that love each other a lot." Robbin just smiled and said "Why don't you ask zoro, he knows?" "Ok I'll go ask Zoro right now!" luffy smiled running off.
Luffy found Zoro napping in his favorite spot on sunny. Luffy squatted down next to Zoro and started poking his cheek. "Hey Zoro, wake up. I need to ask you a realy important question. C'mon Zoro it's important" Zoro opened his eye slowly and looked at his captain. "What is it Luffy?" he grumbled a little irritated for being woken up. "Where do baby's come from?" Zoro shot up sitting stiff holding down the blush that was threatening to overcome his cheeks. "W-what makes you ask this Luffy?" he sputtered out embarrassed. "Well I always thought it was confusing. Shanks tried to explain it to me once but I still didn't get it. All I know is a bird and a bee love each other a lot."
-Flashback-
"Hey shanks where do baby's come from?" little 6 year old Luffy asked. "Well what do you think Luffy." "Well, Ace said that he heard a bee and a bird kiss each other and the birdie flys by and takes there order on their baby?" "Takes their order? What do you mean?" "You know like, if it's a boy or a girl, or what color it's hair is." "Why would you listen to Ace? No Luffy that's not how it works." "Then "how" does it work?" Shanks thought for a minute before answering. "You can know the answer to that when you're a REAL pirate." "But I am a real pirate Shanks!" "I mean when you have your own crew and stuff." "Oh, ok. Can I have some meat now?"

Zoro just stared at Luffy after being told how he came to think of this question. "Why do you want to know Luffy?" "Because, I don't understand how a bird and a bee have a baby, and what about humans? I don't care about birds or bees! I mean humans! Zoro. How do humans have babies?" Zoro pondered this for a minute before explaining. "Only two people that love each other very much can have a baby together." "Oh, so can Zoro and me have a baby?" Zoro choked on his own spit and couldn't hide the major blush that covered his face. "No! That's not how it works! It has to be a boy and a girl that have a baby Luffy. Guys can't." Luffy looked a little sad then brightened up instantly like usual. "Never mind then, I don't want to know." "What made you change your mind?" "Well if I can't have one with Zoro then I don't care." Luffy stated simply, being done with the conversation went to go find Sanji to make him some food. Zoro smiled at Luffy and layed back down to finish his nap.
