Wally sat down on the chair, pouting.
"This is so unfair" He picked up a 'Young Justice' promotional poster from 2011.
Dick sat next to him, staring at the wall in front of him, which had a bunch of pictures of the entire cast.
"Tell me about it" He sighed in agreement.
M'gann was still crying, and Artemis and Zatanna were still comforting her, Conner, Roy and Jade standing awkwardly by them.
Bart, Jaime, Tim and Cassie were huddled together, on their phones. They were organizing protests and seeing what the rest of the world thought about it.
The League was busy preparing for their own movie, so they were pretty lucky.
"We didn't even get a movie" Wally remarked.
"But we have a video game" Dick offered.
"It's not the same" M'gann spoke, her sobs calming down. "We'll never get to see what happens next, it's an unfinished plot, a cliff hanger that will never be solved"
"Our fans are still fighting out there" Tim said, pulling out a screen, showing pictures of millions of cosplayers, video tributes, and screenshots of protest organizations on social networking sites. There were even a few scripts of fan made episodes.
"The one thing that still gives me hope is that the fandom has not given up on us, after so long of our can cancellation" Artemis smiled.
"But soon you know what will happen" Jaime said quietly "We'll die off slowly"
Everyone remained silent.
"People will begin to forget us, in a matter of years there will be new generations of people, of kids and teenagers, children who will never experience our show at its prime" Cassie slowly understood.
"They can watch reruns, like with the Justice League or Teen Titans" Zatanna said, mentioning two classic shows that had been before them.
"They've already replaced us with shows that the general audience isn't enjoying, they'll carry on like that" Bart said.
"No" Dick stopped anyone from saying another negative word. "How many times have we saved the world? Millions of times. How many times have we given hope speeches to the civilians to keep them calm? Millions of times. Think back to those speeches, the people of our Fandom will survive this, they will fight and they will thrive to get what they want. Our w=show will get re-aired, and we will once again be alive to them, but even if they don't, we'll still live on, we'll live on in fanfictions, in fan art, in Cosplays, in re-runs, and most importantly, in people's lives, we will live on in their hearts, even if we disappear."
Everyone nodded in agreement, smiling at one another. They all got up, circling together in the middle of the room, wrapping their arms around each other in a tight hug.
Slowly, they all felt the exact same thing. A strange overwhelming feeling. They looked at each other, only to realize they were fading.
They accepted this moment, satisfied to know that they would never be forgotten.
"Heroes never Die"
