Disclaimer: I don't own Teen Titans. Happy Halloween everybody!

Robin had relented. After nearly a month of pressuring, he had relented and agreed to let the Titans have a Halloween party. Crime was down by a lot, even by holiday standards. Orange and black lights lit the Common Room, bringing the Boy Wonder an awful feeling that Slade would arrive and ruin everything.

Titans East had just arrived, leaving Steel City in the care of some of the honorable Titans, including Hotspot, Jericho, and Herald. Bumblebee was dressed as a Spartan Hoplite, Speedy was Robin Hood, Mas y Menos were elves, and Aqualad was a Jedi Master.

As for his own team, Starfire had dressed up as Princess Leia, Cyborg decided to go as a T-800 model Terminator, Beast Boy decided to go as Wolverine from X-Men, and Raven decided to be Freya from the Scandinavian Mythologies. As for Robin... he decided to go as Zorro, in order to keep his mask on.

The party was in full swing, music blaring, lights flashing and everybody having a good time. Cyborg was dancing with Bumblebee, Robin and Starfire were dancing the tango, while others were chatting or eating. Raven was the only one not participating.

Beast Boy had watched her for a while, saddened that she was refusing to dance or engage in conversation. He was determined to change that. Striding over to where she sat, he held out a hand and said, "May I have this dance milady?"

To which the sorceress replied, "Gods don't dance with mere mortals, so go away."

The irritation in her voice evident, the Changeling decided to change tactics. He grabbed her hands and before she knew what was going on, had dragged her to the dance floor. "As a gentleman, I cannot allow even a goddess to miss this party. Or dance," he casually replied, smiling at her.

Since Raven didn't have her cloak, it was hard to hide the blush spreading across her cheeks. "Beast Boy, let me go. Now, or so help me..." she said, leaving a threat hanging in the air.

"You'll have to kill me," he replied jokingly. "Relax, Rae, it's just one dance."

She glared at him, her violet orbs focusing on his green ones. "Fine. Just one dance," Raven replied icily. The changeling only smiled as they danced. One dance, she told herself, one dance and then I'm out of here.

However, one dance turned into two, two turned into three, and before Raven knew it, hours had passed. The party was dwindling down, and she had danced with Beast Boy the entire time; and she was, as much as she hated to admit it, was enjoying it. Maybe dancing with Beast Boy wasn't so bad after all.

A slow waltz came on and Beast Boy pulled Raven closer to him. She put her head on one of his shoulders and they danced. By the end of the night, Raven decided she and Beast Boy would be dancing again.

Dance they did, at the Christmas Eve party, at the mayor's New Year's Day ball, and at their wedding.
