I can't remember which Fanfic it was where Rose has a heart condition and she moves to Hawaii because they have a good cardiac surgery team. Her doctor was Dimitri's mom Dr. Olena Belikov. Rose's parents are very religious and her Dad-Abe-gives the sermon every Sunday and they both work a lot of jobs because Rose's medical bills are expensive. Rose starts dating Dimitri and they do a lot of fun stuff in Hawaii but she can only do too much because her heart can't take a lot of activity. For example, there was a scene where she went to Dimitri's house for a pool party with his friends and family and while they were playing Marco Polo she got too tired and had to hang onto the pool ledge and she later passed out, because she didn't take her heart medication.
