The bell trilled as Mr. Shue finished his lesson, and the Glee kids gathered their things, preparing to leave. Except, that is, for two Cheerios uniform clad fifteen-year-old girls, who flounced up to an unusually tall boy packing up by the piano, pinkies entwined, skirts swishing. Quinn Fabray looked up from her notebook, eyebrow perfectly arched. She hadn't really spoken to Brittany or Santana since Quinn was unceremoniously dumped from Sue Sylvester's infamous cheerleading squad just a couple weeks before Sectionals, and she recognized the girls' look of smugness as they charged Finn. The blonde's eyes darted to the too-familiar brown head of Rachel Berry who was chatting with the Glee instructor, oblivious to what was going on in the other side of the room. Quinn gave the brunette a once-over. Today, Rachel was wearing a plaid long sleeved shirt and knee length light brown skirt that really had no business being worn in public, but, there it was. Quinn shook her head slightly. How could Rachel be so infuriatingly geeky, and still hold the blonde so.. transfixed. But she didn't dare let her gaze linger. She could have sworn Finn had caught her staring at Rachel just that morning in the hallway as she leaned up against her locker with him. He probably just assumed she was looking at him, but still. It had been a close call, and she didn't want to tempt fate. She was mostly obscured though as she quietly put her notebooks back into her bag and stood to leave, so she could at least see why her two former best friends had taken a sudden interest in Finn.

"You're a really good dancer." She heard Brittany say. Just then, Rachel walked purposefully out of the room followed by the remaining Glee kids.

Quinn's steely eyes landed on Santana who gently tugged Brittany's pinky as they leaned in closer to the ex-love of her life.

It was a new Sue Sylvester plot to destroy Glee. It had to be. And Quinn could see where this was headed. As she walked towards the door, Quinn had an alarming thought. Perhaps this was the perfect excuse. She could do it. She could run after Rachel and tell her that her new boyfriend was at this moment being seduced by Santana and Brittany, Rachel would hurry back into the choir room to see for herself, and catch the three of them red handed, break up with Finn on the spot, and then.. And then what? How could Quinn explain why she suddenly wanted to help her sworn enemy, the girl that had stolen her boyfriend in the first place? It's not like she could burst out with the truth. And most definitely not to Rachel. The brunette would probably reject her right then and there, and then Quinn's life would really be over. Rachel had the biggest blabber mouth in the entire school. The news would be all over Jacob's, or whatever that losers name was blog by the end of the day. So instead, she just walked right out of the room and into her next class. It was such a ludicrous thought, Rachel Berry choosing her over Finn, that it made her head spin.
