As the beginning of the morning began to show over the Unova land, Pokémon from all over the region began to gather around for a very special cause. A new egg had hatched. But not just an egg, a very special egg. The next queen. As a happy Samurott beckoned the crowding pokemon over, a raichu held a tiny topegi, as he gave her to the Samurott.
The Samurott nodded as a sign of approval, and held the Topegi up. The crowd of happy pokemon cheered as the Samurott held the future Queen of Unova pokemon up in the warm breeze of air. A close by Togekiss stood beside the Raichu, as the Samurott set some coconut milk on top of her tiny forehead. The Togekiss nuzzled her baby Topegi, and so did her Raichu father.
While the family shared a moment, a Snorelax and a Patrat stood there admiring the tiny topegi. "Awww... look at the little guy!" The Patrat nicknamed Cress exclaimed to his buddy, Chilli. "And ya gotta know who's gonna raise 'em!" the Patrat exclaimed happily to the Snorelax beside him.
"His parent?" Cress questioned.
"Sure technitally! But who's gonna teach him all the important stuff," Chili continued, "Like dig for food? Or to find the gems? I'm tellin' ya Cress! This going to be just like old times! Just you, me and the little guy!" he finished.
The Samurott chuckled lightly. "It is a girl," he announced.
"Girl," Chilli corrected himself before realising what the Samurott said. Cress and Chilli looks at each other before shouting, "GIRL?"
As they said the gender of the Topegi, they both fainted.
