Hi all. This is just a quick intro chapter. Please let me know what you think!

"Asuko Mizuki. Quirk: Phase-Jumping. She can phase both living and non-living matter through space. As long as she is touching it and has a clear image of where she is going." Midnight read from the bio file she held in her hand. "She doesn't have many drawbacks on her abilities. The only important one is that the larger the object, the more strain it puts on her brain."

Other pro heroes quietly sat throughout the room as they listened intently to the explanation. Some were focused on the file each of them had been given. Others watched the large screen on the wall in front of them, at the blonde girl who was cuffed to a table on the other end. But what scared them all the most, was that she didn't seem concerned about the restraints at all. She didn't even try to struggle or pull away. She sat in silence, icy blue eyes glaring sharp daggers directly into the camera, at all of them.

The only reason she hadn't teleported away to escape was thanks to Eraserhead being in there with her. Seated in a corner so she couldn't see his movements, but so he could see all of hers. Midnight could tell through the monitor just how tense he was. Sporting a cast on his arm, a broken rib, and almost losing an eye. She put up a seriously tough fight, and it scared the hell out of all of them.

"What do you suppose we do with her?" The R-rated hero asked.

Moments passed. All the heroes sat in silence. Wondering, what should they do with the young girl? A sigh caught their attention, and they all looked up.

"I guess we could admit her in UA." Said Ectoplasm.

"WHAT!" Shouted multiple voices.

"We can't admit her to UA!"

"Why not?" Spoke another.

"She is a trained killer, and you want to send her to the place with young heroes in training? She could kill them all easily!"

"I agree with Ectoplasm."

"Are you serious? She put six heroes in the hospital before we could take her down, and that was after Eraserhead took away her quirk and look at what she did to him. And now you want to send her to a school that specialises in quirk training."

"I honestly doubt there is much more training needed with her quirk. She already seemed very well versed in its usefulness."

"My point exactly."

"She's a sixteen-year-old girl!"

"She's too far gone –"

"Are we not heroes?" A voice boomed over all the others, drawing their attention towards the back where All Might was seated. "Being a hero doesn't always have to mean saving people from disasters." He stood and strode to the front of the room, keeping his back to everyone and looking at the monitor on the wall in front of him.

"What are you trying to say All Might?"

"As heroes, it is our job to save people not only from accidents and villains but from themselves as well. Young Asuko has been led astray. Shoved down the rabbit hole with no one to pull her out. She had no choice but to keep digging." He turned around to face the other heroes.

"It is our turn to pull her out of that hole before it gets any deeper." He boomed, the signature All Might smile plastered across his face. "I believe at UA, being surrounded by young people her age who are aspiring to spend their lives helping others will be a good start for her."

"I agree with All Might." Spoke up Nezu as he wove his way between the rows of chairs. "Being in UA will help give her a new mindset. I believe putting her in class 1A will be good, at least Eraserhead will be able to keep her under control."

The other heroes all looked at each other. Exchanging glances and thoughts.

"I am still unsure." Said Present Mic. "I do agree that UA would be good for her mind. But look at her." He gestured to the screen where Asuko was still glaring at them. "Do you really think that is the face of someone who can learn to do good."

"HAHA." All Might boomed, startling everyone. " That is not the face of someone evil Present Mic. That." He turned to face the monitor again. "That is the look of someone with a fiery determination." He grinned, staring at the icy blue eyes in front of him.

"Well, I guess it's decided then. Asuko Mizuki. Welcome to UA High School."

The classroom bustled with excitement. Not just the class, but the whole damn school, and it pissed Bakugou off to no end. He was used to it most of the time. But this kind of excitement felt different. There was a sort of competitive vibe in the air like people were itching for a fight, and it got his adrenaline pumping for some reason.

He tried to figure out what was causing the unusual behaviour, but nothing came to mind. Apart from the shitty events from yesterday. The class did a group battle royal to see who the last standing was; They all had tags attached to their bodies and had to tear away others until they ran out, and that damn Deku wouldn't go down.

Kirishima sat a few tables away chatting happily with Ashido, and Bakugou watched as he punched a fist into the air with a toothy grin.

Nope. That idiot definitely had no idea what was going on.

He looked forward with a click of his tongue. Not knowing, and everyone else's obliviousness to this energy was starting to really get to him. He needed to hit something.

He glanced over in Kirishima's direction again. The spikey haired bastard was now talking to that Deku and Pink Cheeks. The green-haired idiot poked his fingers together, mumbling something while the latter giggled at whatever stupid thing he said.

Bakugou rolled his eyes. Fucking Morons. He opened his mouth, about to yell some sort of profanity, but before he could the door slid open, and Aizawa stepped in, carrying his yellow sleeping bag.

Annoyance bubbled in Bakugou's gut again as he eyed the object. The sight of it always pissed him off. He loved hiking, and he missed out on buying the damned limited item because his mother decided to drag him out to see some relatives who he doesn't even know.

It was at that moment that Bakugou actually noticed the state their teacher was in. He took in the cast covering his left arm. The other arm was wrapped in bandages, and there was a very angry looking cut, stitched shut, dangerously close to his eye supported with a deep purple bruise. Bakugou could tell from the way their teacher favored his right side, he obviously had some torso damage.

"My Aizawa! What happened?" Gasped Yaoyorozu. The minute she pointed it out, the entire room burst into a slur of questions all at once, not even giving their teacher the chance to answer.

With a clear of his throat, all the chatter died down, and the teacher looked around with a very sombre expression. "I got into an accident." He said sharply, and a little too quickly to sound convincing. He gave the students a couple of moments to calm down.

"We have a new student joining the class today." This caught their attention. The prospect of a new student joining a hero class was almost unheard of. Not to mention the school was always dead set on keeping even numbers throughout every class. Who could have been so important to cause a disruption to that?

Aizawa gestured to the door, and someone walked in. It was a girl, long blonde hair cascading down to her lower back. Icy blue eyes scanned the classroom. They passed him over and looked away as if he wasn't worth a second glance. He clicked his tongue. That certainly pissed him off.

"Everyone this is Asuko Mizuki."

Asuko scanned the room. Taking in her surroundings. Three windows, and one door. There seemed to be only two people, judging by their demeanour, apart from Eraserhead who could be a problem for her if things were to ever go south. The boy with spikey Ash-Blonde hair, and the dual coloured boy seated at the back.

Her eyes passed them over, not giving them a second glance. She didn't want to give them a reason to focus on her too much, she did, however, make it a point to keep watch of both of them in her peripheral.

Aizawa seemed to notice that she wasn't about to introduce herself and continued to speak. "Asuko, please find a seat."

Asuko sighed and rolled her eyes, looking around the room. There was one empty seat, next to a midget with purple grapes for hair. She cringed at the drool that slipped down his chin.

Fuck that!

She looked towards the window, she liked the view, plus it's easy to access an escape point if something happens. She walked towards the window, and couldn't help the glee that built up inside her when she heard Aizawa sigh in defeat.

She stopped in front of the desk of a green-haired boy who looked up at her. Asuko watched as he gulped nervously and a bead of sweat ran down his forehead.

"C-can I help you?" He stuttered.

"I sit here." She said calmly, her eyes remaining cold and fierce as she glared at the boy. He looked around frantically for help, clearly not wanting to move out of his seat.

Bakugou watched from his spot in front of them. A little shocked by her attitude towards the usually likeable Deku.

"Please find another seat Midoriya," Aizawa said a little too quickly to sound calm and casual, and Bakugou noticed his very slight shift to a more serious posture. What was it about this girl that clearly put their teacher on edge.

Midoriya looked at the teacher in shock. Stuttered a few more times before mumbling a quiet 'yes sir' and gathered his things, moving to the seat near Mineta.

Asuko sat down with a triumphant smirk plastered across her face and Bakugou watched as she made herself at home before she looked out the window. She felt his gaze on her face and turned to see a fiery crimson, glaring at her angrily.

She met his glare. A silent challenge? She didn't know, she didn't quite care. Her eyebrows raised in silent question, and with an angry click of his tongue. He turned towards the front for classes to begin.

The loud ring of the lunch bell filled the entire school, and Asuko could literally feel the relief flood through every single student as they all sighed in unison, stood from their seats, and made way from their classrooms toward the cafeteria.

Asuko stood from her seat and quickly hurried to the door before she was abruptly stopped by Aizawa.

"Asuko." He called. Asuko groaned, turning to face him with a roll of her eyes.

"What do you want?" She snapped, not noticing Bakugou, Todoroki and Kirishima still in the room. Her sudden snap at the teacher drawing their attention.

"I was just going to show you the way to the cafeteria." He drawled out. His eyes watched her cautiously and the three boys still in the room went rigid in silent shock at their teacher's attitude towards her.

"Do you really think I would get lost easily?" She scoffed. "You don't think I notice you deliberately walking in circles and up and down staircases every time you take me somewhere." Aizawa's eyebrows raised and even he looked a little shocked. "Please." She cackled. "As if I would lose my bearings so easily." She shook her head, her laughter could still be heard as she made her way down the hallway in the direction of the cafeteria.

Kirishima looked at Bakugou in shock, quite shaken by the new girl's attitude. "Hey man, what do you think that was about?"

"Tch Fuck if I know! Like I give a shit anyway." He snarled.

Aizawa stared at the doorway, he would never admit it, but he was a little shaken by her sudden outburst. His bandaged hand absentmindedly held onto his broken arm.

The scuff of shoes on a floor snapped Aizawa back to reality, and he almost cursed himself for forgetting their presence. "You three come here." He gestured to his desk.

Bakugou clicked his tongue in annoyance, why couldn't he just go to lunch already. Kirishima stood beside him with a nonchalant grin on his face that pissed him off to no end. And the half and half stood on his other side looking as indifferent as ever.

"I want you three to help keep an eye on Asuko," Aizawa spoke up.

"What the fuck! Why the fuck am I put on guard duty?" Bakugou snarled.

"You three are the only ones who I believe could help keep her under control."

"Control? What do you mean?" Asked Todoroki. This too peaked Bakugou's and Kirishima's interest.

"Asuko comes from a very… Interesting past. One I believe is best you do not know of. I just need you three to keep track of her movements. If I am not around, I want her to remain in sight by at least one of you at all times."

"What the fuck?! What about at night you dumbass? You expect one of us to be in her dorm room or something?" Bakugou seethed. Who the fuck does this moron think he is, asking him to act as watchdog without even telling him the proper reason.

"I was thinking you three could organise a night shift set up on her floor. It was a condition for her entry into UA that she be under constant surveillance. I can't keep watch of her all the time. So I need other's to do it too."

Todoroki nodded, seemed easy enough.

Kirishima grinned like an idiot. "It will give me a good reason to get to know her."

"Tch fuck off spikey-hair! Why should I lose sleep over something like this?"

Aizawa sighed before rubbing his eyes with a yawn. "Think of it as training for when you are put on an escort job at an agency." He mumbled.

Bakugou's anger disappeared within a second. Now that he took a good look. Aizawa looked completely exhausted. Was he the only one watching her until she got here? Not to mention it would be a great way to build experience on that aspect. "Tch. Fine."

"I want you three to give me frequent reports on her movements, especially if he does something you notice she doesn't normally do." He said, his face going serious again.

They nodded and made their way towards the exit.

"Oh and Kirishima," Aizawa called.

Kirishima paused with a raised eyebrow. Bakugou waited by the door, glancing over his shoulder.

"You're welcome to try and befriend her." The redhead smiled. "If she will let you that is." He deadpanned, and Kirishima's grin fell.

"I'll warn you now, she is not someone you want to mess with." He looked Bakugou directly in the eyes and gestured to his arm.

Bakugou's eyes widened. Did she do that, to him? What the fuck kind of person is she?

Now he was really interested. Before he knew it, a sadistic grin spread across his face as he looked at his teacher. "Sounds fun." He said before turning and leaving the room before Aizawa could say anything else to deter him.

The excitement from earlier roared from inside him again, and he had to shake his hands to keep small explosions from popping. Call him curious, but he was going to use this opportunity to suck any information from her until his curiosities are fulfilled. The one things he hated was having something dangled in his face and not knowing what it was.

To have unanswered questions.

And if he wanted those answers. He would have to figure out how to drag them out of her.

This was bound to get interesting.

Asuko stared up at the sky from her makeshift lounge. Well, it was actually the concrete wall on the roof. But staring up at the cloudless blue expanse above her with the sun on her face and the breeze kissing her skin. She felt as if she were on a couch. A couch that she never had to leave. Never had to worry about outside world problems.

She chose the roof specifically to avoid those first world problems. Such as dealing with people. All they ever wanted was to use her in some way and then ditch her like some mangy stray. That's how it always worked. She offered her services, they pay her and then leave. So if she had the opportunity to avoid them at all costs, she would take it.

She dangled a leg over the ledge with a contempt sigh. For once, she felt her thoughts leave the horrible truth in the back of her mind. The screams. The anger. The song of metal slashing through the air. The colour red.

Even for a moment. She felt her thoughts empty themselves. Felt as they weightlessly drifted on a silent wind, to an empty void yet to be discovered. It made her wonder what else there could possibly be for her thoughts to dwell on.

She frowned as she racked her brain for anything that might be hidden in that place. But found nothing. No memory. No thought. Not even a whisper from her mind. And for the first time in a long time, she felt as if something were missing.

The ring of the school bell reached her ears, and she released a heavy sigh. Unable to avoid the inevitable. She stood from her ledge and made her way off the roof towards the classroom. Not noticing a spikey-blonde around the corner. Crimson followed her movements until she disappeared through the door.
