It was strange to sit up in bed and smell the coffee coming from the kitchen and realize she wasn't the first person up. I liked the idea of a hot cup of coffee waiting for me downstairs. But for so long it had been my kitchen and my kitchen alone and I was used to that. Too used to that, in fact, that when Albus first asked me to let him stay I was against it.
"Please," Albus pleaded, "He only needs a place to stay for about a month, then he will have found a house by then."
"Tell me again why you decided to let Alice move into your guys' house," I paused, "you know she's my friend too she could always move in here."
"Because," Albus sputtered, "because I-"
"Ok stop right there.", I had heard enough I knew he had had a crush on her ever since the 5th year, but I was sure he had gotten over her 7th year which funnily enough was the year she had a thing for him, but that's beside the point. If she moved in with Albus and they fell in love or whatever I not only would have to live with HIM for until he found a place to live but I would also have to deal with my best friend gushing about my cousin. Not that it would be any different than it was now.
I pondered for a few seconds more than came to the conclusion that I might as well give in. Plus maybe it could be good for me and Malfoy.
