It took a couple hours for the news to sink in. But even then, Electra couldn't quiet believe what was happening.

Her mom found her in the bathtub, completely submerged and drowning.

She had seen Jemima and Victoria's tears, heard her mother's voice crack and nose sniffle, but the real meaning of what had happened hadn't penetrated her mind. It was like she was reading a book, everything happening to a character she didn't know, didn't have any personal attachment to.

She's at the hospital, in a coma now.

She just couldn't accept it. So she went along for several hours, appearing almost indifferent about what was happening.

Her blood pressure and her heart rate keep dropping. They think she's not going to make it.

When Electra heard that she might not make it, it started to sink in, but her brain still didn't react. She was still able to go about life normally.

Leccy, even if she does recover...there isn't any brain activity. Even if she came out of the coma...Leccy, she'd be brain-dead. Her brain is gone.

Then it sank in. Etcetera, good, funny, always-smiling Etcetera, was gone. Gone forever. Etcetera, who always smiled. Etcetera, who always, always had something funny to say. It was then that Electra broke down into tears, sobbing and sobbing until she fell asleep, and knew her best friend was gone.

(A/N): Please pray for a sweet fourteen year old named Jaycee. This is what happened to her, and my own reaction. She's one of my little sister's best friends, and y'all, that girl was the nicest person you could meet. Please keep her in your thoughts and in your prayers.
