Introduction

My Citizen is Susan B Anthony. I will be introducing 3 subtopics. My first subtopic is about her life. It will be her birth to toddler to kid to tween to teenage to adult life. My second subtopic is her career which will talk about her jobs and career. The third subtopic is about why she should be remembered and her accomplishments.

Childhood

Susan B. Anthony was born in Adams MA on February 15, 1820 to Daniel and Lucy Anthony. She was one of 6 children, their names were Mary, Guelma, Daniel, Jacob, Aliza. They were all 2 years apart in age. Her father owned an ran cotton field. At age 3 she moved to Battensiblle, NY due to her father job.

Career

Miss Anthony attended Quaker Academy in Philadelphia. After graduating she returned to New York, were she continued her studies to become a school teacher. She became an high school for three years but had to leave when her father became ill. She returned home and worked on the family farm long hours to keep the family business alive. She also became involved with the Civil rights movement that was trying to give women more rights including the right to vote.

Accomplishments

Susan has accomplished so many things in her life. She had a passion for teaching, farming, family and above all equality in women. It was her dream to have women in the workplace as well as every right a man does. Her passion did so much for women.

Remembered

Susan B. Anthony was remembered for fighting for woman to vote and to end slavery. Also, she thought Math was important to teach to kids when she was a teacher.
