There was no possible way to put in words how much she missed Percy.
After his departure, she felt as if no one could mend her heart again.
She would sit by the beach, and wonder if her love for Percy was different than her love for the other hero's that came.
One day, as she was tending a flower, the god Hermes came to her.
"Hello Calypso. How are you?" He asked. It was the end of the great Titan war. Kronos had been defeated, and sadly, Luke died to save his friends, and the world.
"Fine." She managed for a smile, but Hermes could see the broken glass that was her underneath.
"You are free." Hermes hoped the good news will bring her spirits up. She looked up, confused.
"Why?"
"Percy Jackson, the boy who we washed up here let you go. It was his request." Hermes explained, as Calypso's beautiful eyes started to water.
"He did?" She clasped her hands on her chest, tears threatening to fall.
"Yes. Isn't that wonderful? You can go anywhere in the world now, you can fall in love-" Calypso broke down at the sentence, crying into her hands, on her knees. Hermes looked distraught, and fell to his knees as well to comfort the girl.
"There, there. If you want, we can bring Percy for another visit..." Hermes paused, the idea he was going for next was against what Percy requested. "We can...let you stay here, if you want." Calypso brought her head to see into Hermes' eyes.
Her sniffling quieted down. "I would like to stay, if you don't mind." She gathered her composure and Hermes helped her up.
"So you would like to stay at Ogygia?"
"Yes, that would be nice." She smiled.
"If that is what you wish. Good day Calypso. I guess I will have to take the wrath of the goddess Styx." Hermes waved and flew off into the distance.
For centuries, hero's have been brought often to Ogygia, but none of them were taken to Calypso's liking. They were all wonderful, but none could fix what Percy has completely broken.
"Calypso, are you okay?" A young hero with blond hair named Israel asked her. They were having dinner together, at the beach during a sunset.
"I'm fine." Calypso assured. The boy shrugged it off and continued his meal.
It went on like that, and it will...forever and ever.
During one faithful night, Calypso sat near a moonlace that she just planted, smiling as it brought memories.
"I miss you Percy. I love you." She whispered as the moonlace shone with life. The man in the moon watched from above, smiled and nodded.
