Like Father Like Daughter

Ron was sitting on the couch in the living room with Harry while bouncing a giggling year and a half Rose on his knee.

"Yu know what is the best thing daddy," said Rose who had stopped bouncing to stand on her daddy's knees and put her little hands on his shoulders.

"What is the best thing princess," said Ron in an over excited playful voice.

"CHOCOLATE FROGS!" shouted Rose like it was the most obvious thing in the world.

"Sounds familiar," said Harry referring to all the times Ron had ranted about Chocolate Frogs.

"Right you are sweetie," Ron said then tickled her tummy, causing Rose to shriek with laughter.

"Can I have one daddy," asked Rose pointing to the bowl of them on the coffee table. It was Halloween at the burrow so there were bowls of candy everywhere.

"Sorry Rosie, but you know Mummy will not want you to have one before dinner."

"Pwweeassssseee daddy," whined Rose.

Ron looked into Rose's eyes that were beginning to fill with tears and Ron knew he could never so no to his Rosie.

"We will split one, okay sweetheart."

"Yayy, I love you daddy," said Rose throwing her little pudgy arms around Ron's neck.

"Anything for my Rosie," he said blowing a raspberry on her tummy. Rose then giggled her adorable giggle and reached for the chocolate frog; which Harry handed to her.

Ron opened it and gave half of it to Rose.

"Just don't tell Mummy," said Ron while putting a finger to his lips showing Rose to be quiet.

"Don't worry daddy I won't tell mummy," said Rose copying Ron by putting her finger to her lips and speaking in a hushed tone.

Rose then settled herself on Ron's lap and began to eat her chocolate. She finished hers almost as quickly as Ron, which cause Harry to laugh.

"Like father like daughter huhhh," said Harry.

When she finished she cuddle up against her daddy's chest and started to drift to sleep. Ron kissed the top of her head and stroked her hair.

"Love you princess," said Ron as Rose was almost asleep.

Hermione came into the living room of the burrow to Harry, Ron, and Rose for dinner, only to find them all asleep on the couch.

Ron had his eyes closed and was holding Rose in his arms while she slept cuddled to his chest. Harry had his arm hanging of the side of he couch while his mouth lay open as he was fast asleep.

Looking at her little red-headed family on the couch all she could think was like father like daughter.
