Hello again! I know that it has been a while, but school holidays have not left me much time to write anything – strange, I know, but it can't be helped.
Anyway, this is a new story I'm writing. Recently, I've started watching The Lord of the Rings – thanks to my good friend who got me hooked – and after seeing the series (specifically speaking Legolas!); I just had to create an OC to go with a new story.
So I hope you like this, please comment and enjoy.
Prolog
Can you feel it? Can you feel the silence? The peace? It's in the air we breathe; in the earth on which we stand. The War of the Ring has long since ended. Middle Earth is finally free from the cold, evil clutches of the Dark Lord Sauron. The lives of Men, Elves and all free beings alike have been won. Middle Earth is safe. But not all is as it once was. My people, the Elven tribes, have all but left Middle Earth for the Undying Lands.
There are few now who remain.
The Time of the Elves is over.
Ok, so just to clear up anything about this chapter, this specific chapter is told from the point of view of someone important to this Lord of the Rings story, I think it will be an oc, someone like Galadriel (I haven't really decided anything.)
And I know that it is not a very long chapter (really, I can't even call it a chapter), but I was aiming for a quick and precise introduction – kind of like what happens in the first Lord of the Rings film – that would give a basic overview of what is going to happen in this story.
