Scars
How is it that despite all the time that goes by some wounds never truly heal?
"Azula it's time to go we don't want to be late." My husband, great warrior and sword of the Avatar Sokka. He never fails to keep with his schedules even for events neither of us want to attend.
"I'm coming just a few finishing touches." There are many things I'd never want to be a part of; this is by far the closest to the top. Today we must bury my mother. To make matters worse I've learned a few years ago this is also the day Sokka lost his own mother in a raid during the war.
"I know this is hard for you and you know I'm here for you if you need me." Always so gentle and supportive even when he's close to his own breaking point.
"We never reconciled with each other Sokka! 30 years since we found her in that village and not once did we talk about the mistakes we both made… I'll spend the rest of my life remembering her seeing me as a monster." He wants to say something but can't. Some wounds will never heal.
Honestly threw this together in half an hour but I always wondered if Azula and Ursa settled their past issues. Leave a review if you like.
