Chapter 1

"Hey... Hey!" Someone poked my side, it was Tony,

"I'm intentionally ignoring you Tony." I said, typing away at the computer. Tony decided to make me junior CEO of Stark Industries, which is his obnoxious way of piling the paperwork (all of it) on me. "Come on Parker I'm boored!" He whined,

"Tony I'm trying to do your paperwork for your company, go hang out with Pepper or something." I said,

"No!" He turned off the computer, "TONY WHAT THE HELL?!" I stood up, "I'm bored." I growled, "You infuriate me." "I try my hardest." He smirked, I rolled my eyes and walked out of the room.

"Come on Jess, why can't you take a break?"

"Because if I do that then a) work won't get done and b) I'll get yelled at by yo- wah!" Something pulled me away and knocked me out.

I woke up sitting in my seat in the Helicarrier, "Hey..." I rubbed my eyes, "Was that really necessary?"

"Huh?" Tony jerked in the seat next to me,

"Nice of you two to join us." Fury said, standing by the table. Natasha, Clint, Bruce, and Steve walked in normally, "You couldn't have just-"

"No, this is a very important world crisis."

"Well, I have things to do tomorrow, saving the world can't really fit into my agenda." I replied,

"What can you be doing that's so important?" Tony asked,

"I have to babysit." I said sitting forward. Everyone looked at me and laughed, "What?" I asked,

"Someone help those kids." Tony laughed,

I death glared them all, "You know what, I'm leaving." I stood up,

"Sit back down right now!" Fury boomed. The whole room went silent and I sat down, normally I don't take orders but the way he said that turned me into a bad puppy,

"This is serious you guys." Agent Hill said from behind me,

"You didn't even tell us what our "big crisis" was." Tony said, using air quotes.

Thunder roared outside, I looked at Clint, he gave me the look that people give when they know something, it really wasn't hard to guess who it was though.

Thor walked in, not dressed as an Asgardian warrior, but as a mortal, "Oh wow, this is serious." I said, Tony nodded,

"Good to see you again Thor." Fury greeted, "Now that everyone is here, we have detected a strong presence on our radar, unlike anything Loki could have conjured up."

"Like what?" Steve asked,

"We're not sure what exactly it is, yet."

"And how strong exactly is strong?" I asked, leaning forward,

"Stronger then you guys times ten." Fury replied, everyones eyes widened when he said that. He looked at Bruce and Tony, "I'm gonna need you two in the lab at all times, we're gonna need all the help we can get to find out what this is."

"But that's-" Tony started to protest but I elbowed him in the stomach,

"Shut up." I whispered to him,

"The rest of you need to go out and report anything that may seem unusual and report immediately, we're going to catch this thing and stop it before it does any damage."

"Yes director Fury." We all got up and were dismissed.
