Summary: one shot of the Sasuke Recovery Team leaving Konoha

Sylvia Omaki approached the Sasuke Recovery Team. She noted with disappointment that it consisted of male ninja. Still, she walked forward and coughed into her hand, catching their attention.
Shikamaru scowled. "What are you doing here?"
"What does it look like I'M doing?" Sylvi questioned sarcastically. "Knitting a sweater? I'm going to help you on this mission."
"Well listen here, this is an A-rank mission," Shikamaru said. "Too dangerous." In the back of his mind, Shikamaru did not want Sylvi to go because she was a girl.
"It's because I'm a girl, isn't it?" Sylvi challenged.
"What?" Shikamaru took a step back. "No! This is NONE of the Cloud's business!"
"So it is because I'm a girl!" Sylvi exclaimed. "I'll tell you this, I'm not a weak kunoichi obsessed with Sasuke's so called awesomeness!" She crossed her arms. "Don't you disrespect me again!" She turned her head sharply. Her flying ponytail hit Shikamaru across the face.
"Fine, but we won't take responsibility for major injuries," Shikamaru gave in.
"Expect only a few scars," Sylvi retorted dully.
Someone came up behind them. They turned around and saw Sakura Haruno and Rock Lee. Lee was leaning against a single crutch.
"Don't bother Sakura," Shikamaru said. "You already tried, but you failed. And this mission is too dangerous. You'll be -"
"I think you've said enough," Sylvi hissed through clenched teeth. She gave her kun a few warning strokes.
Sakura broke down into tears. Sylvi stepped forward and embraced the girl. After a few seconds, Sakura looked up again. Sylvi let go and stepped back
"Naruto," She said. "This is a once in a life request." Sakura paused, then kept on going. "Just bring Sasuke home. Please bring Sasuke back to me!"
Naruto grinned. "Don't worry one bit Sakura! I'll bring Sasuke back!" He gave Sakura a thumbs up.
"Well that's going to stay in my mind for a long time," Sylvi retorted.
"Sis! What are you doing?" Sylvi whirled around. Her younger siblings stood their.
"What the? Uh, AAAAH!" Sylvi sputtered. "we don't have time for this!"
Naida looked at her sister. "What exactly are you doing?"
"Sasuke defected from the village so we're going after him and Sylvi volunteered to die." Shikamaru summarized.
"What?!" Naida and Shadow exclaimed at once.
"Oh way to go, Blabber Mouth!" Sylvi spat. "Why don't we all tattoo the words 'Sasuke Recovery Team' across our foreheads?"
"It's a good idea," Kiba mused.
"I didn't really mean it," Sylvi said
"Let's just get on with this!" Naruto exclaimed. "I'm ready! Believe it!"
"Oh, Shika here is exaggerating about me volunteering to die," Sylvi told her siblings. She turned to Shikamaru. "Is it okay if I call you Shika?" Shikamaru opened his mouth, but Sylvi held up her finger. "Doesn't matter."
The eight set off away from the Leaf, with Sylvi and Kiba tracking down the Sound Four. Little did aNY of them know, big things were waiting for them. BIG things.
