This is just an opening! VERY short. Just to see if you like it and if i should carry on with it.

They say everything happens for a reason, but what if there is no reason?
It was just a normal night at the Swan house: Charlie snoring away and Bella lying comfortably in Edward's cool arms.
It was about 2am when Bella awoke and she started panicking as she couldn't feel the comforting arms that made everything right. On the bed side table there was a note addressed to her.
Sorry if you awoke in my absence, I am out hunting and should be back soon, I love you.
Even with Edward's reassurance she couldn't help but feel uneasy. She drifted off but was still half conscious when she saw dark shadows outside of her room, this was odd she thought. Edward usually came through the window and Charlie wouldn't get up in the middle of the night to save his life.
When she walked out onto the landing it came clear that it was not a shadow, yet a projection. It was Bella sitting on a grand black chair with a dark cloak on showing only the bottom of her chin. This place seamed familiar yet brought back bad memories. Then it hit her. This was Volterra.
