Harry was watching as the Gryffindor common room had come alive. This was the best party he had ever been to. Everyone was dancing and the only light came from the disco ball spinning overhead. Where Fred and George had got it, Harry wasn't sure. He didn't seem to care either. A girl came up to him and grabbed his hand. She dragged him onto the dance floor. He thought about his girlfriend and what she would have to say, then he recognized the girl.
"Hey Hermione, I thought you had to study," he said, in a mocking voice.
"Shut up and dance," she replied. He laughed. The way her face had turned a light shade of pink was too funny to bear.

They were beginning to enjoy themselves when Ron "boogied"(as he called it) his way into view. Harry and Hermione couldn't control themselves. They broke into laughter as Ron started the disco. He began to sing "Nacho Man" ("I believe it's called 'Macho Man'," Hermione stated.), which, after much protest, was stopped. Ron soon "shuffled" his way back to the punch bowl, grabbing about 20 chocolate frogs from his pile.
Finally, Harry decided to go see Ron, leaving Hermione to go find a dance partner. Harry was talking to Ron but stopped when his girlfriend entered. He walked over to her and they began to dance. He saw Hermione, who was trying to hide from Ron, who was doing another one of his weird dances. Harry turned back to his girlfriend. They stared into each other's eyes. "This is great," thought Harry.

Harry had to admit, he liked Hermione, but he liked his girlfriend much more. He truly loved her with all his heart and so did she. He was thinking and she could tell. He was distracted. She kissed him and it brought him back to reality.

She smiled at him and he gave her a kiss on the cheek. She put her head on his shoulder and they swayed to the music, just enjoying the party.
