He told her that she was an idiot, for believing some stupid shit like that.
She made the best coffee, which was the only thing to wake him up completely in the mornings.
He looked over her while she was cleaning.
She fulfilled every task he gave her properly.
He hugged her in a side alley, while she was crying over her mothers passing.
She comforted him when he couldn´t sleep, because of the nightmares that kept bothering him.
He kissed her when nobody was looking, repeating it a lot of times.
She loved him with all of her mind and so did he.
But on that one fateful day their life together changed forever.
Because now she was gone.
As if she never existed.
But he knew she did.
He still saw her in his dreams every night.
He longed for touching her smooth skin again, even if it was just once.
Kissing her soft lips, while hugging and never letting her go again.
But he couldn´t even bring back her body with him.
He had no grave for mourning over her.
He had no right to mourn over her, after all he was not there for her when she needed him the most.
He was only there to look at her numb body, smashed against a tree.
He was the one that told his soldiers to dispose the body, catching a glimpse of her beautiful hair one last time.
Maybe she was his soulmate, because without her he felt like being ripped apart.
He smiled remembering he smiling face while calling out his name.
"Levi Heichou!"
"What is it Petra?"
"I love you!" she said blushing hardly.
"I love you too, you little idiot." he responded while putting his arms behind her back hugging her tightly.
Smiling he wiped away the single tear falling down his cheek, while remembering her flushed face while telling him that.
He would always love her.
His own soulmate.
