DM Edith The Giant!
[This takes place before the events of Despicable Me 2. Gru and the girls have yet to meet Lucy]
Ever since being adopted by a bald man with a pointy nose. Margo Edith and Agnes had been much happier than before. This meant that they would never have to face evil Miss Hattie again.
Edith in practically had been interested in Gru's weapons and stuff. She was a tomboy! One day however when she was looking around in Gru's lab. She saw a lot of new weapons that Gru had made with his chum .
One of them read ''Grow Ray'' on the label. Gru had said he would make a weapon that would make things grow to go with his Shrink Ray. Now after discovering that she was too small for some things.
''This'' she thought would be a good time to try out the Grow Ray. Taking it outside and reading the instructions. Edith stood very still in front of the weapon and pressed the button. Soon she was bigger than Gru's house! Edith shouted ''LOOK AT ME, I'M NOT SMALLER THAN YOU ANYMORE!'.
She went a walk showing off her new size. But everyone was frightened by her new size. Margo just screamed ''Edith what an earth'' and ran inside taking Agnes with her.
Everyone else also ran away to hide. Because Edith was so big, Everyone was frightened of her! She simply sat down, pulled her knit cap over her face as long as it would go, and cried.
Her tears made puddles on the ground, and soon Gru's garden almost flooded. Gru himself was just walking up, when he saw what looked like a giant version of his middle aged daughter.
''EDITH!' he thundered 'YOU'VE FIDDLED WITH MY GROW RAY HAV'T YOU?''. ''Yes, I'm sorry' Edith wept 'Being huge isn't as fun as I thought, please can you make me my normal size again?''.
''Well' Gru growled 'I will, but only if your promise never to fiddle with my weapons again, I mean it''.
''I promise'' Edith answered quietly. So Gru went inside and brought out his Shrink Ray, and soon Edith was her proper size again.
She had learned a valuable lesson that day.
