I imagined this in a dream last night. Who on earth knows why? But I have thinking of Van Dyke/Macy/Kevin triangles lately so ... that could have something to do with it. ;P This one-shot is dedicated to the most dedicated Kacy lover I know: StandardAng3l. I owe her one. ;)
I've seriously been slacking off in my JONAS stories but I promise I have some real Kacy coming very soon. ;D
"He's never gonna see me from here," Macy screamed at the boy sitting next to her. They were inches apart but the music filling the arena was deafening.
Van Dyke smiled warmly and responded, "Climb on my shoulders and I'll lift you up."
Macy stood on her chair, swinging one leg over his shoulder and then the other. She placed both hands firmly on his head as he stood up. He let her get situated for a moment and craned his head back to meet her eyes.
"Are you okay?" he asked, gripping her calves tightly. Macy didn't answer.
She was frantically waving her arms in an attempt to catch the attention of a particular band member.
The stage on which the band was performing constantly rotated and right then, her favorite JONAS was facing the opposite end of the arena. Macy shrugged impatiently and waited.
Meanwhile, Van Dyke shifted her weight in order to keep his balance.
Then it happened.
Kevin of JONAS walked around the circular stage and faced Macy Misa full on. She screamed a shrill, ear-piercing scream and wiggled her entire body. She put her hands in the air as far as they could reach.
Van Dyke warned Macy to stop moving or he might lose his balance. She paused to see if she had captured Kevin's attention.
He was looking right at her—and smiling. For a moment, she stilled in shock but she quickly recovered and blew her favorite rockstar a kiss.
To her further amazement, Kevin of JONAS reciprocated the gesture.
Macy screamed again. She leaned over Van Dyke's head to meet his eyes.
"He blew me a kiss!" Van Dyke smiled. She was ecstatic and he knew the fan girl in her had to be let lose once in awhile.
"Did you catch it?" he asked sincerely. Macy frowned upside down. She pondered the question, reliving the moment second by second.
She realized she hadn't imagined the kiss at all. She had just seen it coming and freaked.
Macy Misa had let an opportunity to "kiss" a JONAS pass her by.
"No," Macy answered quietly, "I didn't." She let her head fall in front of his; her hair surrounding their faces in a small, dark enclosure. "I didn't even taste it," she continued sadly.
Van Dyke removed one hand from her leg and placed it on her cheek.
"You know what's even better than fantasy?" He stared at her meaningfully. Her upside down eyes met his honestly.
"Real-life," he said, bringing her face to his. Their lips met softly.
When Van Dyke pulled away, Macy was beaming at him. She sat upright on his shoulders again and kissed the top of his head.
