Beauty and the Marauder
A girl with red hair laid outside in the grass. Her eyes were closed as the sun shined on her face. She was enjoying the last day before exams. A boy with dark messy hair and glasses walked up to her. He took a breath and sat down next to her. She felt his movement, opened her green eyes and sat up.
"Hi James!" She said then laid back down closing her eyes again, " it is so nice today. I can't believe that this is the last day before exams. Next year when we come back it will be our last year here!"
"Hi Lily... I've been...er I wanted to tell you something." He managed.
"Of corse, but first I need to tell you something first." James nodded as she leaned up on her elbows. "Sev and I..." James bit his lip he didn't know if he really wanted to hear what was coming, "...are just friends. We aren't dating. Never were, never will. Sev knows there's only one guy for me." She smiled at James, but he turned away.
"That bloke from Ravenclaw," Lily rolled her eyes.
"No, James not him. We broke up weeks ago. When I found out he was cheating on me, but it's okay I was only using him to make someone else jealous." James' head dropped. Lily sat up and turned towards him.
"Lily," he said laughing, "you have some leaves in your hair." He removed the leaves as she started to laugh. "You have such a beautiful laugh." Lily rolled her eyes to hide her blushing cheeks.
"Do you think your life would be different if you never became a wizard? I know mine would."
"Well," he thought for a moment, "my life defiantly would be different because I never would have had my heart stole." Lily swallowed not wanting to know exactly what he meant.
"What was it you wanted to tell me?" She changed the subject. James pulled out a chain from his pocket. He leaned toward her.
"You have my heart." He whispered in her ear as he put the chain in her hand. "I charmed it. When you wear you will never feel pain just the warmth of my love. I will know when you wear it because I will never feel lonely." James stood up, he began to walk away. Lily scrambled to her feet.
"James wait!" James turned around. She walked up to him and lean closer. "Would you help me with this chain?" James took the chain from her and put it around her neck. Lily turned around and face him. James touched his chest and smiled. "What's wrong?" Lily asked in worry.
"I told you, I would know when you where it." Lily smiled at him. She wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him closer.
"I have a secret." She whispered in his ear. "I love this guy. He's a wizard with dark messy hair and glasses. He also is the only guy to ever make laugh, smile and blush every time I see him." James looked into her green eyes then kissed her.
"You better send me lots of owls over the summer."
"I promise." James smiled, Lily turned and walked away. James laid down and closed his eyes. He took in the last day before exams.
