Disclaimer: I do not own Power Rangers Dino Thunder. I don't know who does but he/she/they did a good job. But I wish they hooked up Conner and Kira.

"Hey Kira!" Conner McKnight called.

Kira Ford turned around to face him. She is just about to go home when she heard Conner call her. He got up from his seat at Haley's Cyberspace, gathered up this things and placed them on his bag and bid Ethan good-bye.

"What's up?" Kira asked as he ran beside her.

"Um… Do you want to go for a walk?" he asked.

"Conner? You have a car," she answered, questioningly.

"Uh… Right… But, let's drive to the park. I have to tell you something."

"Um…Sure."

At the park

"So? What do you wanna tell me?" Kira asked, as she kicked a pebble.

"Um… I'm sorry about you and Trent," Conner replied.

"You brought me to the park for that? I told you guys. Trent and I decided it was for the best."

"But are you really okay?"

"Of course. Do you see me crying my eyes out?"

"No. But-"

"Conner, I'm fine. Okay?"

She walked ahead and faced him.

"I'm fine," she repeated. "Is that why you took me to the park?"

"No. Something else that's been bothering me for a long time now."

"What?"

Conner did not respond. He took Kira's hands in his and kissed it lightly.

"Conner…"

"I love you Kira. I've always did. Ever since we became Power Rangers. I saw something in you that I've never seen in other girls. When we met Trent and I saw you being attracted tom him, I got mad at myself for not telling you sooner. I tried to get rid of my feelings by trying to date Krista. But everyday the feeling just gets stronger. When you and Trent broke up yesterday, I knew that this is my chance tot ell you. I can't lose you again Kira. I can't."

Kira was speechless. She never knew Conner felt the same way she had felt for him since they first met. She really did like Trent but not as much as Conner.

"Conner…. I-" she was cut off by Conner's cell phone.

Conner answered it. "Yes Mom. I'm on my way."

He hung up and said, "I have to go Kira. I guess I'll see you some time. Don't worry about answering my feelings. I understand that you're still recovering from a broken heart. Just remember that I love you."

And he left…

Three weeks after…

"Okay team. Take five," the coach said.

Conner wiped the sweat from his forehead and walked towards the bench where he placed his bag. But he did not expect to see Kira there, holding his water bottle.

"Hey," she greeted as he approached her.

"Uh… Hi," he replied, puzzled, but happy.

"Thirsty? Here." She handed him the water bottle and Conner drank.

"Do you know that you're sweaty?"

She took a towel from Conner's bag and began wiping Conner's forehead, smiling. Conner felt like he's in heaven but he's also curious.

"Kira? What's this about?"

"You said you loved me right?"

"Yeah…"

"I didn't have the chance to answer. I love you to Conner."

She placed the towel back on the bench and placed her arms around Conner's neck and leaned to kiss him. It was quick because the coach yelled something that sounded like, "This is soccer practice Conner! Not make-out time!"

Kira giggled. "You better get back."

Conner smiled. "Care for some milkshakes at Haley's Cyberspace after practice?"

"Why not?"

"It's a date then."

He gave her a quick kiss on the cheek and ran back to the soccer fields.
