A perfect couple with a fairytale ending
But then he disappeared
Leaving her a.l.o.n.e.
(So, so alone)
And then, [he] came along
That stupid, stupid S-o-n o-f N-e-p-t-u-n-e
Who was supposed to replace
H/e/r f/i/r/s/t l/o/v/e
And, everyone GAVE UP on him coming back
Except her
She would never give up
On keeping her fairytale ending
A-n-d h-e c-a-m-e b-a-c-k
In the arms of a d.i.f.f.e.r.e.n.t g.i.r.l
She had been replaced
Abandoned
By her f/i/r/s/t l/o/v/e
Replaced by a daughter of Venus
Even worse, a daughter of A.p.h.r.o.d.i.t.e
(A Greek nonetheless)
Abandoned
