"I miss DNA digivolving. That was fun, but we never do it anymore." Daisuke said. "It felt like our hearts were beating in time together."

"Yeah." Ken nodded.

"Do you think they really were?"

"Who were what?"

"Our hearts! Beating at the same time."

"I guess, maybe?"

"Do you think they still are?"

"It's unlikely, I doubt-"

"Shush." Said Daisuke putting a finger to Ken's mouth to hush him. "I'm trying to hear it."

"You can't hear it, that's-"

"Maybe I could if you'd be quiet." Daisuke put his ear to Ken's chest and tried to listen.

After a few seconds of concentrated listening Daisuke gave up. "I can't hear anything."

"Told you, you can't-"

"Take off your shirt." Daisuke demanded.

"What? Why?" Ken stuttered out.

"It's in the way." Daisuke started to undo the buttons on Ken's shirt.

"Stop that." Ken muttered, trying to get away.

Daisuke grabbed him around the waist to stop him escaping. Ken tried to pull himself out of Daisuke's grasp, but just fell over, Daisuke landing on top of him. He pulled Ken's shirt off and laid his head against the bare skin. Ken looked down at the goggle-head; his eyes were closed tight in concentration. His cheek felt hot on Ken's cold skin and his hair was tickling him. Ken felt his pulse quickening.

"I think I can hear it." Daisuke finally said.

"You're probably just hearing your own heart beating." Ken stated.

"Fine, if I can't hear it can I feel it?" He lifted his hand. "Um, which side is your heart?"

Ken rolled his eyes and showed him. Daisuke put one hand over Ken's heart and another over his own. "I don't feel anything." He said disappointed.

Ken moved Daisuke's hand up to his neck. "This'll work better."

"I feel it!" He put a hand up to his own neck also. "It's the same."

Daisuke pulled Ken's hands into the same position his own were in. They were the same. Daisuke's heart was even going as fast as his. Ken looked up at Daisuke. He seemed oblivious to the hectic speed the pair of hearts were beating.

Ken wondered if their hearts felt the same in more ways than one. "That's stupid. There's no way. He-" Ken was brought out of his thoughts and back into the real world by the strange look Daisuke was giving him. He was still on top of him, his hand had moved down Ken's neck and into his hair. He was unconsciously running his fingers through it.

Ken couldn't help himself. He wrapped his hand around to the back of Daisuke's neck and pulled him closer. They pressed their lips together clumsily. Neither knew what they were doing, but they were enjoying themselves nonetheless. Ken pulled away first blushing profusely. Daisuke was breathing heavily, he couldn't seem to inhale and kiss at the same time. "Why'd you stop?" Daisuke asked.

Ken mumbled something incoherently. Daisuke took that to mean: "I have no clue, let's make out some more." And he attacked Ken with more kisses.
