Jasper grinned as Emmet struggled with the door.

"Let me out!" Emmet demanded, infuriated.

"Not a chance" Jasper replied gleefully. The metal door rattled in its hinges. Emmet roared. Jasper smiled angelically as Alice and Rosalie approached him.

"What are you doing?" Alice sighed.

"Nothing." Jasper promised cheerfully. The door rattled heavily behind him.

"And you were saying?" Rosalie asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Ummm. . . " Jasper stalled "Mutant monkeys?" he suggested meekly

Alice sighed. "Let Emmet out."

"No, wait. Can he get out of there?" Rosalie questioned him.

"No." Jasper grinned broadly.

"Leave him in there for a while then." She grinned evilly.

"Rosalie!" Emmet complained

"This will be the last time you forget our anniversary!" she shouted back, grinning. Emmet howled.

"I'm sorry!" he screamed "PLEASE!"

"NO! This is the third year in a row!!" Rosalie smiled sweetly. "Besides, now you can commit the date to memory. Do you want me to say it for you? March eleventh--"

"Stop! I get it! March eleventh 1935!!" He howled again. "Let me out!"

"Not a chance." Rosalie hissed. She turned to Jasper "Don't let him out." She instructed firmly.

"Aye aye, m'am" Jasper snapped her a salute.

"At ease" Alice sighed again. Rosalie and Alice moved on, and Jasper continued to watch the door closely for signs of weakness.
