Remus/Lily
Remus was sitting in Transfiguration class like every other day, waiting for Professor McGonagall to come, at the best school in the world, Hogwarts, when Lily Evans, the new girl, walked up to him. "Hey!" she grinned at him, "mind if I sit here?" she gestured at the seat next to him. Remus considered it for a minute; he was saving the seat for Prongs, but the new girl was just so damn cute! No. Remus shook his head in shock and frustration. The four had made a vow, no girls. He looked up to tell her that the seat was taken, but when he looked into her green eyes he found himself saying: "Sure!"
Just then James Potter and Sirius Black, the class clowns and mischief makers walked in. They were laughing over some joke Sirius had just told. James gave his friend a friendly punch on the shoulder before heading over to his usual place next to Remus. He stopped suddenly when he saw Lily Evans, the new girl, who was in love with that slime ball Snivellus Snape, sitting in his place! How dare she! He was just about to go up to her and ask her What the Hell she thought she was doing, when he noticed how Moony laughed as she told him a funny story of her life as a Muggle, how he gently touched her arm as he laughed, how he blushed when she smiled so sweetly at him. He just didn't have the heart to interrupt them. Remus would never forgive him. He grinned slightly before walking over to Padfoot and sitting next to him.
"And then I jumped off the swing and Petunia screamed so loud! It was hilarious! And I just stood up and grinned at her. You should have seen her face!" Remus laughed so hard he had tears in his eyes. "Oh I wish I could have! Hey we should-"he was cut off as Minerva McGonagall walked into the room. "Good Morning class." She placed her books carefully n the desk. "Good Morning" the class echoed. Professor McGonagall started talking about what they were going to be doing that day, but Remus wasn't paying attention, he was too busy daydreaming about Lily Evans and her beautiful long hair and her wonderful green eyes and her- "Mr Lupin! Did you even hear a word I just said?" he was dragged brutally out of his daydream as McGonagall spoke. "I thought not. 5 points from Gryffindor. Now pay attention! So as I was saying.." With difficulty Remus somehow managed to stay focused for the rest of the lesson, but as soon s it was over he rushed out of class and stood casually at the door waiting for Lily. His friends came out first, walking on expecting him to follow, with surprised looks on their faces when he didn't. He heard Sirius whisper to the other two: "Leave him. He's in loooove. " They all giggled and walked on. Lily Evans came out last, followed by the Professor who barely glanced at them before walking on.
"Hey" Remus found himself blushing and looked away, only to find Lily do the same. He grinned. "Hey, Remus" He smiled as she said her name, it made him feel special in a way. "So I was wondering, Lily" He stammered "If maybe, you'd like to go out- out with we some t-time?" He glanced at her, his face now a deep red. "Really? I mean, yes. I'd like that a lot." She looked up at him, grinning as if he'd just told her she'd won the lottery. "Care to join me for lunch?" He held out his hand. "I'd like that too." She took it and together they walked to the Great Hall.
