"CODE BLACK, CODE BLACK, CODE BLACK, CODE BLACK" The sirens wailed as I was standing in front of the glass window/elevator. I had already placed my hand on the glass, it began to scan my fingerprints; one by one, a little red glow came from each finger indicating the scan. It was too late, if I move another siren will blare.
"Hi there Cammie," I look in the glass to see Zach's mother behind me. How did she get in here? Is she here because of me? To get me? A second later there is a red scan scanning my whole body.
"INTRUDER!" I scream into the mirror.
"Intruder alert, intruder alert," The small barely visible speaker reply's. "Who goes there?" It asks.
"The sisters of Gilly!" Catherine and I answer at the same time.
"CATHERINE GOODE! CATHERINE GOODE! CATHERINE GOODE!" The sirens around us stop blaring and continue saying Zach's mom's name. Darts came out of the walls and start shooting at Catherine. I stand there emotionless. My hands are now separate from my body as I begin to choke her so she will get hit with a sleeping dart, she struggles to get out of Bex's choke hold. I get shot first then Catherine. Both of us on the floor, last thing I see is my mother overhead.
I wake up in a bed, head spinning seeing Bex, Liz, Macey, and Zach at the foot.
"She's up! Everyone she's awake!" Liz yells. Everyone turns there attention on me.
"Hey there Gallagher Girl," Zach greets me, I want to smile but I can't. I try to sit up but I end up with an even bigger head ache and then fall back down.
"Where is Catherine?" I ask.
"She is being detained, don't worry she is safe and going to serve for what she did to you and others." Zach answers; I can see hatred in his eyes.
"And for disrespecting being a Gallagher Girl." I mutter.
"Hey, you feeling okay?" Bex asks, my body clock is telling me that she is missing PE, her favorite class.
I fall asleep for a few more hours and wake up in the room. I sit up and begin to wander the halls.
SLAM! A door slams near the entrance, I run over to go see it, someone left and is going to the PE barn, she is running, running fast. I see her enter and exit with things, I run over to her yelling! I get close enough to grab her, I pounce but it is too late, she is over the fence and a car has taken her away.
I sprint to my mother's room, "MOM, MOM, MOM," She sits up in her pajamas.
"What is it kiddo?" She asks alert.
"Someone escaped, like actually escaped!" I yell at her, she gets up and rushes down the guest room. I follow closely behind. The bed where Catherine is supposed to be, she got out. Mom presses the panic button that is hidden. More sirens blare, I hear the footsteps of awakening Gallagher Girls, and Tina Walters complaining that she can never get any sleep.
"Girls, and Zach," She starts on the staircase, otherwise known as the Blackthorne agent that has been working the circle we just caught has escaped." Murmurs pass in the hallways, I can tell already that no one is going back to sleep this morning.
