Disclaimer: I don't own Victorious.
Sikowitz was the one who put the idea in her head. His not-so-subtle comments that made them both blush. He was the one who made her realize why Robbie makes her so happy.
The first time it happened was at the end of class, as they were walking out together. He mentioned how they would make a cute couple.
Cat, completely oblivious, just replied with, 'Huh?'
Robbie stayed quiet, hoping his red cheeks would go unnoticed.
The second time was when Cat asked about an assignment they had to finish.
'What date is it due?', She asked Sikowitz.
'Date? We can't date! You're a student, and besides, Robbie would beat me up!', he chuckled.
She paused for a moment, before saying, 'No-, no I mean what day is it due?'
Robbie was sitting right next to her, he kept silent, trying to hide his blush.
Each time it happened, the comments would get more obvious. Every lesson, without fail, Sikowitz would say something to make Cat and Robbie blush.
One lesson, she was telling another one of her extravagant stories to Sikowitz.
'Yesterday, I made 10 cupcakes, and I put pink icing and rainbow sprinkles on top, so they looked like rainbow fairy dust cupcakes!'
'I can't imagine they would last long, how many do you have left?', the teacher asked.
'Oh, there's just 13 left now,'
'Well you're not very good at maths then, are you?', Sikowitz stated, before turning to Robbie, 'Are you good at maths?'
'Yeah, I guess,' he replied.
'They say opposites attract...', the teacher mentioned, eyebrows raised.
There was a short pause, before being broken by Cat.
'Do you know what would be so cool? If you made coconut cupcakes! You know, because you're always drinking out of them? And you could put fun sprinkles on too!'
That class helped her master the art of distraction.
Her friends started picking up on it too - she wondered if Sikowitz had somehow brainwashed them.
'Hey Cat? What's going on with you and Robbie?'
She looked up at Jade, surprised, before quickly averting her gaze back to the floor.
'What do you mean?'
'You know exactly what I mean'
'It's... Nothing'
'Do you like him?'
'I don't know...'
'Does he like you?'
'I don't know...'
Soon enough, the rumors spread like wildfire.
'Are Cat and Robbie dating?'
'I heard they've been keeping it a secret for months!'
'I saw them flirting in Sikowitz's class!'
Which led to Cat finally confronting Robbie after school.
'Why is everyone saying things about us?'
'I don't know, Cat,' He sighed, 'Does it bother you?'
Cat thought for a moment, it wasn't so much the rumors, but the fact that she had to deal with her own feelings, that bothered her.
'No, I'm just... Confused'
'So am I,' Robbie said while looking into her eyes, as if he was trying to see inside her head. But Cat's mind was just too hard to read.
She could be thinking about anything from unicorns to world hunger to...
His eyes widened as she stood on the tips of her toes and planted a kiss on his lips. When she pulled away, he was just hoping she wouldn't run off like last time.
Instead of running away, Cat's wide, happy grin matched the elated expression on Robbie's face.
'Do you want to make those rumors true?', Cat asked him, weaving her fingers with his.
'I'd love to!', He replied, still smiling like an idiot.
