Today was one of those boring days in Biology, especially for Bella since this was her second time taking this class and she still had her first time fresh on her mind, so Bella let her thoughts wander back to her, and Edward's goodbye to Charlie. It was a rainy morning, not unusual weather for Forks to be having, when we pulled up to Charlie's place in Edwards Volvo. Charlie answered the door about thirty seconds after we knocked on the door. "Dad, we have something important to tell you", I said when he let us in, "Alright, let's go sit down and talk then.", Charlie said as he led us into the den and took a seat on the end of the couch, I took a seat right beside him Edward took a chair near the couch. As soon as we were seated, Charlie said, "So, what is it that you have to tell me?", I looked into his eyes before telling him the news "Dad, we decided to continue on with our plan to go to the University of Alaska" . I could see the sadness in his face and I wanted to do something to make is better but I knew that there was nothing that I could do. "How will you take care of Nessie and go to, college at the same time?" he asked with a look of sadness and concern on his face, "Carlisle got a job near the university, so Esme will be taking care of her when Bella and I are in class.", Edward answered knowing that he wouldn't need to read my mind to know that I wouldn't be able to tell my dad the rest of our story. "Wh…when are you going to leave?" Charlie asked with teary eyes,"In about an hour, I'm going to miss you dad" I replied when I could trust myself not to give away the lie. "I'm going to miss you too Bells" I hugged Charlie as he cried and I dry sobbed we said our goodbye's soon after that. After she thought about the goodbye, the bell rang bringing Bella out of her thoughts and back into the real world.
