What exactly is happening in the infirmary at the moment is entirely lost on Ronon Dex. After their routine off-world check-ups were over, Beckett whispered something to Sheppard, and then it all began. After working his way through Beckett, Teyla and McKay, Sheppard comes to stand in front of Ronon, grabs him by the shoulders, and kisses him soundly on the mouth. When Sheppard pulls back, Ronon cocks an eyebrow at his CO and glances at the others in the room. Teyla seems to be the only other one looking confused. Even McKay, who Ronon thought would surely have some sort of breakdown in a situation like this is calm and even smiling. Ronon looks back at Sheppard, silently asking for some sort of explanation. Looking ridiculously happy, Sheppard states, "Because I can. Finally."
