Chapter 1
School had just begun and a new sun peered out form behind the militant clouds like prison bars, The dark lavender-blue sky still had it's myriad of star-like freckles spaced perfectly around it and the heat was oddly humid for November. It was a crisp,warm morning and the snow has turned to water that filtered into the ground and made the plants, that littered the trees and stone paved roads, spurt up. Ever since 2074,when the American president manipulated the puppets in charge to brainwash the entire globe, pollution had stopped rapidly and drastically.
Most would call this ideal but it wasn't. Yeah,global warming had ceased and we were now all equal around the globe,didn't mean we were ideal. Plants had a mind of their own. Crushing houses and bikes,infestations and tresspassing . . . they were interminable weeds that fought back. Not only that, but the Human population outnumbered half the creatures that somehow survived through the years.
Thats the day the new laws were announced across the nation,and soon spread to all the remaining countries. It was decided.
A solution to our problems. A way to cut down on our population in a fair,unbiased way. To kill all that are unequal. A simple game of cat and mouse, only flipped in such a way that is inhumane and unfair for the many mice in the world.
