All was quiet at Cackles academy. The only person awake was Constance Hardbroom. Once again, sleep avoided her as it had since the return of Hecketty Broomhead. The dragon was taking over. Mildred had been tagged like a dog and Constance had felt powerless to help. She sat up in bed and massaged her throbbing temples. "Why can't Amilia just come back?" As soon as the thought entered her mind, she banished it. Now was not the time for self pity! Taking the bottle of wide awake potion from her nightstand, Constance downed its contents. The sun was rising. Out of duty, she had to bear another day.
Whoa, I never thought writing 100 words could be so hard :) It's probably not my best work , but I'd love some feedback *hint hint* :)
