Okay, so, before I start this one-shot, I have to warn ya, ITS GOTS LOADS OF FLUFF AND ANGST AND MORE FLUFF! This basically self-centred of the Pines family, like, Mabel, Dipper, Stan, and Ford. So yeah, here's the opening chapter for ya.

(Tuesday, 9:30 a.m)

Dipper stirred in his sleep mumbling nonsense of some kind. He was dreaming about saving Wendy from a frightening monster again and being her hero. He then woken up, his lids were half opened and he had some drool pouring down the side of his mouth. He wiped it off as he aroused himself into a sitting state on his bed. Dipper looked over at the digital clock on his nightstand as it read 9:30 a.m.

Dipper gasped as he tried untangling himself from his bed sheets ending him to fall onto the wooden floor, making a loud thud. Dipper arranged himself back up onto his feet as he grabbed for his sneakers, vest, and his blue pine tree trucker hat. Dipper had completely forgotten that Stan wanted him to help wash his car at 8:00 a.m.

Grunkle Stan was so gonna be mad at him for not waking up on time. Dipper hastened downstairs as quick as possible. His feet pattered hard as he stomped down every step rapidly. He sped past Soos almost running into him. "Woah, dood, what's the big hurry about?" Soos had stopped Dipper by clutching his shoulder wanting to chat. "Ican'ttalkrightnoworGrunkleStanisgonnakillmefornotwakingupintimetohelphimcleanhiscarokayIgottagobyeee!"

Soos stood there dumbly as he watched Dipper run outside.

Dipper swung the screen door open as it slammed behind him. He paused seeing Stan already washing the red vehicle. He seemed like he wasn't annoyed or sullen at all. Dipper watched the old man whistling away as he was occupied at work cleaning the car.

"Oh, hey kid, you woke up."

Dipper hardened up a little, his eyes uneased as they fixed at his uncle. Stan had already noticed the unsettling Dipper feeling guilt for waking up earlier, but he didn't really mind at all. Usually, he would already be barking up a storm at the kid for not doing a chore, but this time, he seemed to be calmer than any other day.

"Ya just gon' stand there and not help me?" Stan asked giving a goofy smirk at Dipper. Dipper jolted realising he was just standing idiotically not even moving a muscle scared for his life Stan would yell at him for not getting up on time. Dipper awkwardly approached down the porch steps as he trained over grabbing the extra bucket already filled with soapy water and a sponge already floating atop in it. The boy clutched for the sponge and pressed it against the red metal door.

"Are you mad at me?" Dipper asked sheepishly. "For what?" Stan snorted a chuckle. "For not waking up on time," Dipper replied innocently. Stan responded with a 'pfshh' with a wave of his hand implying he didn't care.

"Kid, I ain't mad at ya, you looked really tired this morning, so I let ya sleep in."

"Oh," Dipper speechlessly implied to himself. "Anyways, I have the top and you have the bottom," Stan added as he reverted back to cleaning the roof of the car. The sponge smacked the roof of the car causing little sprinkles of bubbles hovering everywhere. One had landed on Dipper's nose as he scrunched it to get off. Stan chortled he saw the kid wiping it off. Dipper chuckled wiping the bubble off the bridge of his nose and returned back to work.

Dipper couldn't help but smile a little. It was a little funny about the bubble landing on his nose and Dipper looking down at it, his eye crossing.

Stan snuck around the corner sneaking behind the kid, he tapped on Dipper's shoulder as he turned around, Stan flicked water in his face. Dipper spat the soapy water out, it had a pretty nasty taste. Dipper looked up at Stan irritated. "What? It wasn't me," Stan jested. Dipper rolled his eyes in a playful way snickering. Stan repeated the same process as he flicked water again in his face. "Okay, Grunkle Stan, it was funny the first time, now it's kind of annoying, can you please stop now?" Dipper asked quite annoyed this time.

Stan grunted to the question and pretended to turn back to washing the vehicle. He started to whistle as he dumped his sponge into the soapy liquid and then flicked it on Dipper again. Dipper gasped as a wide smile grew on his face his shirt was soaked. "Oh, it's on!"

Dipper dumped his sponge in his bucket and flicked it at Stan. Stan dodged out of the way as he laughed. Dipper again flicked the water this time getting it on Stan's shirt. Dipper giggled. A bright smile grew on his face. Stan smirked, a devilish smirk. He grabbed his bucket ready to pour it on the kid. Dipper screamed as he ran away giggling. Stan chased after him laughing. Since Stan had longer legs, he caught up and dumped it all over Dipper. Dipper screamed, but in a cheerful way as he gazed up at Stan laughing.

Dipper grabbed for his bucket and dumped it, Stan. It didn't get him entire from head to toe as Stan did to Dipper, but Dipper still got him.

"Got'cha!" Dipper giggled.

"C'mere, kid!" Stan started to chase after Dipper again. Dipper ran away as he accidentally tripped falling into the mud. Both laugh. Stan picked Dipper up sitting him on his shoulders. He looked up at the kid grinning.

"What're you two doing?" A teenage voice from behind them startled them. "Guy stuff," Stan replied.

"Cool, welp, I'm heading into work."

The two Pines watch Wendy casually walk into work. Dipper wrapped his arms around Stan giving him a hug. "Love you, Grunkle Stan."

"Love ya, too, Dipper."
