THis is my first fanfic, so be nice!
Right now they're in their late teens, but i don't know if that matters...lol.

"Ugh" Kitty opened her eyes slowly, wincing at the harsh light. Her eyes slowly adjusted, and she stared up at the blank ceiling. Where am I…. she thought, lifting her head. Bad move. She winced, her neck muscles stiff. She stretched them a bit and sat up, wincing a little. It wasn't just her neck, her whole body was sore. She closed her eyes for a moment. What happened to me… She tried to remember, but her mind was blank. She opened her eyes again and looked around the room, taking in her surroundings.
It seemed to be some kind of hospital room; but she wasn't at a hospital. It was too small, and it seemed a bit more homely than a hospital. She looked over her body, trying to figure out why she was in this mini 'hospital'. Her body looked fine…She put a hand to her head and winced once more. Big mistake. It felt like she had a huge gash on the side of her head. She bit her lip and settled back down into the pillows, then noticed something moving out of the corner of her eye.
She flicked her eyes over, and then gasped. There was a boy sleeping on a chair next to her. How she didn't notice him before, she didn't know. She raised an eyebrow as she studied him. His skin…it was blue! Also…was that fur covering him? She looked more closely. Yes, fur...how odd…She noticed a few more startling things about him, like his Elfish ears. His mouth was open slightly and she could see fangs. Something down below him moved. Kitty looked down, and to her surprise saw a tail. Who was this boy? What was this boy..? Kitty continued studying him, feeling as if she was missing something. It was as if she knew him or something…but that was impossible! She would have remembered him if she had met him. Right? She sighed, and drew her knees to her chest.
"Kitty", she muttered. "What have you gotten yourself into?" Suddenly, she heard another voice.
"Kätzchen?" an accented voice said. Kitty froze, and turned. The boy looked at her with a grin on his face. He quickly got up and hugged her tightly. "I am so glad zat you are avake!" he let go of her but sat on the hospital bed next to her. He frowned when she didn't answer, then his frown deepened when he saw the confusion on her face. "Kätzchen? Is everything ok?"
"I'm sorry, but…do I know you?" Kitty asked meekly. The boy laughed, and pushed her shoulder lightly.
"Of course you do, Keety! I am your fuzzy elf!" He smiled at her, but it soon faded. "Keety?" he asked in a concerned tone.
"I-I'm sorry, but…I don't know you" Kitty held her knees a little tighter to her chest. The boy's face fell, and he got up.
"I should go get ze professor" he mumbled, and walked out of the room. Kitty frowned and looked back up to the celling, chewing on her lip.
"I should remember him…why don't I remember" she whispered desperately.
