Draco Malfoy's Thoughts
Draco Malfoy was lost in thought. Thoughts of the woman he so desperately loved. That woman was Ginny Weasley. A Weasley… of all the girls he could possibly adore, it had to be her.
Oh sure, she was a pureblood. In fact the Weasleys were probably as pure a magical family as the Malfoys themselves. Only one problem, blood traitors every one of them. Yet here he was in love with the Weasley family princess. Funny thing was that she seemed to return his feelings as well.
He often wondered if her feelings were true. He sometimes doubted her love. Especially when he'd glance down at the mark upon his forearm. The mark of his servitude to the most powerful evil wizard in magical history. Draco and his father were both proud to follow Lord Voldemort. He was the one who would rid the wizarding world of the muggleborn filth that now permeated it.
Potter had tried to get Draco to switch sides, to renounce Voldemort's ways. Draco didn't wish to change, not even for Ginny. He needed her to accept him for who he was, not as what she wished him to be. He was a Death Eater through and through, nothing could change that.
He pondered over exactly why Ginny loved him. Sometimes he thought it was his family's money. Then he'd get her alone in his bed and all thoughts of that would disappear. When they were alone she was a red haired angel he wished only to possess, mind, body, and soul. At those moments he wanted her more than anything else because he loved her.
Possibly he was the pawn in Potter's plans to bring Voldemort down. It pained Draco to think that Ginny might use her enemy in such a way. He wanted to think that she loved him so much she was willing to defy her family for him. He also wanted to think she overlooked and accepted his evil ways in the name of their love. Draco didn't wish to be loved for what he was not nor what he'd never be…
