Hand Me Down:
Crowley looked at Cas, trying not to say "I told you so." The Winchesters had found him out, trapped him in holy fire, angelproofed Bobby Singer's house, vowed to stop him at all costs, and accused him of deliberately leaving Sam's soul in Lucifer's Cage. "Buck up, Angel. They don't really know all you've sacrificed for them. They're still hoping you'll be their heavenly weapon."
Cas's head barely raised. "They were the first friends I had made that weren't so caught up in mission and politics that they had time to get to know me. Dean..." Cas's voice broke. "Dean was the one who taught me free will, he taught me... everything." His voice had failed him and his head fell into his hands. Crowley tried and failed to ignore the slight sound of sharp breathing and heavy sighs.
"Hey, Angel." He stepped close to Cas, knowing that the angel wouldn't try to hurt him right now. He was hurting far too much himself. "From what I see, you were just a hand me down. They really didn't care what you needed, so used to using one another and taking each other for granted. You may not have Dean, but you've got me. I appreciate you." Crowley leaned down and gave Cas a hug. He pulled the angel into his arms and held him tight.
Cas had no idea what to do, the Demon was hugging him. He did what felt most natural and wrapped his arms around Crowley as well. It was exactly what he dreamed a hug would feel like. It felt like safety, love, and trust. It felt like he used to feel when Dean would give him one of his rare smiles. Thinking of Dean just made the tears fall again.
Crowley felt Cas start crying again and rubbed soothing circles on the other being's back. "I'm here Cas. I know I'm not who you really want right now, but I'm here. Just let it out."
Cas had no idea when it happened, but somehow he had started to trust the demon. "Please tell me you aren't going to betray my trust too?"
The weak question from the only being capable of killing him right now struck Crowley to the core. "I'll stay true if you do, Angel."
Cas pulled away from Crowley and smiled at him. "Then I guess we're going to have a long, beautiful friendship."
