Hey guys! In light of the most recent chapter of Fairy Tail, both Tsubaki and I, overcome with FEELS, just had to write painful fanfics. So, yeah. There may have been feels induced strangulation threats on both sides :P

Zeravis "Ch. 450 Fairy Tail" September 1 2015
No. It couldn't be true. Mavis ran from the guild hall, sick with guilt. She'd killed Rita. She'd killed an innocent, loving member of her guild. She couldn't take it; she hadn't even warned them, because she'd been so damn confident it wasn't possible, even though she always knew deep down he was right. She hadn't warned them. At least Zeref told people to stay away; she'd practically murdered Rita.
She ran. She didn't come back. How could she? How could she face what she'd done? She was a monster. She'd acted before she understood what was going on all that time ago, and now she was paying the price. But it wasn't her paying, was it? It was Rita. It was all the animals she'd killed. It was all the people who'd gotten too close.
She stopped eating. She couldn't force the food past the churning guilt that lived in her gut. She didn't deserve to live. She was a monster. But still, her damn body wouldn't let her die. Six months, she'd gone, and still she was alive. Tormented as hell, and alive nonetheless. She just wanted to go; why couldn't she just go? And then he showed up. And somehow, under all her pain, she found herself happy. She didn't deserve to be happy. She didn't deserve to love him. She begged him; "kill me" but she knew he couldn't. She knew nothing could. She was trapped; trapped in this body, in this world, in this curse. She was so overwhelmingly trapped. She'd never been claustrophobic before, but now, every time she thought past guilt, she felt the world collapsing in on her. And when he kissed her, for one moment, just one, everything was perfect. She felt her mortality return, felt his love coursing through her, didn't feel her guilt, and for just one more moment in her cursed life, the world was beautiful again. And as she died, looking up on his face with sweet tears of release, two words managed to pass her lips. The final two words she would ever speak, the final breath to pass between her still-buzzing lips.
"Thank you."
*cries*
