First try at a "happy" fic. Don't own anything, other than speckling 22017.

Natsu was elated (not that he used that word though) two years of antagonizing sadness a lead weight on his soul, was finally lifted as he saw his first and best friend (other than Happy). It was two years since he saw her dazzling smile, and the way her platinum hair framed her face, the joy in her eyes as she saw her home, in all it's new glory, the way her voice was as delicate as the winds that flew through Igneels scales, and sounded twice as beautiful.

Words were not enough to express the emotions that he had, seeing her after she was dead six-feet under the ground and buried, and he choked, like a fat guy on a chicken bone he choked, so hard. After choking he ran to the most familiar place possible, the grave by their hut. It was impossibly clean for something Natsu did, the hut it stood beside was touched by time but it still stood tall thanks to the trees that shelter it.

Over the two years that she was gone Natsu had time to think about his feelings for the white haired beauty, and then he realized that he was hopelessly in love with a cold body, or at least what he thought was a dead person. So that's why on what was suppose to be the happiest day in two years, Natsu choked like a wimp, and ran away from his problems.

Lisanna was shocked as she went back to her world, a happy Magnolia, an Erza that wasn't trying to kill her, an alcoholic Cana, a land locked Natsu looking at her like an idiot, her vision snapped back, why was Natsu staring like he saw a ghost, it was that moment that he ran from the friend that he missed, like a man running for his life.

Lisanna worked her way through the crowed that built up hoping to catch a glimpse of their saviors, ducking and weaving with the agility of a cat trying to keep an eye on Natsu, that is until a particularly plump plump merchant tried to start a conversation, that she politely dismissed for another time. It was in those critical seconds that Natsu slipped from her sight and disappeared from sight.

Disheartened, she made her way through the crowed with much less gusto than before. Feeling nostalgic she decided that she was going to go to the hut that she shared with Natsu, when they raised Happy, when he was just and egg.

Natsu relieved himself in the bushes surrounding the hut, he almost called home for nine months, when he saw her walking into the clearing and look at the grave marker he set down as he mourned by himself. Natsu deemed this a good time to appear as he snuck up to his "wife" and then promptly scared the crap out of her.

"AHHHHH!" she slapped his chest playfully, "Don't scare me like that!"

Natsu started to talk, "I saw you looking at the grave stone I made for you."

"I thought that I had one by the church?"

"I remembered just how much you loved the sunset here, and thought that they couldn't deprive you of that view."

"Thank you." She said, before lunging into a hug. It was then the world caught up to them as they saw the millions of fireflies that surrounded them like million of ballerinas, dancing to the sonata of life, the little stars that surrounded them lost in their own little world. Natsu held her closer, caressed her face with his hands, and leaned in for the kiss, keeping eye contact all the way. Lisanna's heart fluttered in anticipation, that is until, the traitorous fiend that is Happy, barged into the clearing yelling out "You liiiiike her!"

"Way to ruin the moment!" Natsu yelled, chasing the flying blue cat around the clearing. Lisanna giggled, it was good to be back.
